Eric from Tamworth 'Quality was very good. No marks, dents, scuffs of any kind after delivery. One year on and the cabinets ate holding up well with no issues of any kind. Kitchen was £1000 cheaper than a big name kitchen supplier and ours with a much better spec. The kitchen was £4000 cheaper than a local company for a very similar spec.
I was told about DIY Kitchens from a friend's father who has been a kitchen installer for over 30 years. He said I should definitely check out DIY Kitchens. Very glad he told me about them. '
Alex from Manchester 'We’re happy with the quality of the units, even the kitchen fitter was surprised with the quality and ease of installing the kitchen. (Only took 2 days to fit the kitchen cupboards and they usually allow approx 4 days). Nothing was missing on the delivery however a unit arrived damaged which was promptly replaced.
The online planning tool was helpful when pre ordering and the pre sales support was excellent - they helped with a few queries I had.
On the units only, we saved around £5000 (we bought appliances and the worktop elsewhere) when comparing to another well known brand.'
Anthony from Chepstow 'Love my 'DIY Kitchens' Kitchen. I ordered the 'Norton' in Dove Grey and Cobham Blue. Despite being told by a leading kitchen retailer that, for my budget, I would not be able to get solid wooden unit doors or Quartz worktops I managed to get both and be within budget by ordering from DIY Kitchens.
The online planner was great, allowing me to tweak the design which then updated in real time, the costs of the kitchen, making the whole process totally transparent.'
Andrew from Cheshire 'Excellent quality kitchens and great customer service. Would buy again and recommend. We decided upon Sage and Heritage Green to compliment each other.
I found the kitchen to be well made, good quality and easy to fit. Customer service pre and post delivery has been excellent. I would recommend this company.'
Steve & Family from The Wirral 'DIY Kitchens is the place to go if your looking for a quality built and stunning kitchen. From ordering to delivery the process was hassle free, with an easy to navigate website, and an extensive showroom with pleasant and knowledgeable staff.
Very competitive pricing on high standard units, resulted in a significant saving on a dream kitchen. Would highly recommend to anyone. The kitchen is uplifting and a pleasure to use.'
Emma from Chester 'I lived with some friends for a while that had a DIY Kitchen and I was always impressed with the quality, style and value. So when I got my new place, I knew DIY Kitchens would be my go to. I ordered some samples, which were big enough to give you a real feel for what the cupboards would look like and they helped enormously in matching to a worktop.
DIY Kitchens were really helpful during the planning and proactive in dealing with some items that were not ready for the main delivery date. They ensured I had everything before my kitchen fitting.
My kitchen fitter commented on the high quality of the cupboards and ease of assembly. My little island is my favourite feature. I can chop and scoop waste directly into the bin. It’s also the leaning post and place where people gather with a glass of wine whilst preparing food.'
Charlie from Oxfordshire 'Please find photos of our amazing new kitchen from you. We have been so impressed with the quality, incredible customer service and choice available, so much so we have completed our utility room with your units too!
The price was a LOT more reasonable than other places we looked at and saved us a large amount of money. We have been so impressed that we have recommended DIY Kitchens many times to others, who have gone on to use you. Many thanks again, you have made our family kitchen complete!'
Jayne from Lancashire 'We are loving our DIY kitchen. We were recommended to use DIY as our son had ordered his kitchen from you a couple of years ago; after much research he regarded you as the best.
We visited the showroom & were impressed with the welcome we received & the quality of the products. Ordering was straight forward - with a little help from our son with the design! We did not even look at other company quotes as we were so impressed with the product quality.
We ordered extra end panels & our fitter was able to make a kitchen bench which has turned out fantastic. Our daughter has also ordered her kitchen from DIY so we are now a whole family having a DIY kitchen! Testimony in itself. '
Rebecca & James from Barnsley 'We made great use of the online planner, it was really easy to use and helped us to visualise our project. We received great customer service and support with our order. The kitchen units are really well made and we were able to fit these ourselves, without prior experience. We’re also really pleased with our Quarts worktop, it fits our space perfectly.
We were recommended by a family member as well as a colleague. We have been so pleased with the quality of our kitchen, as well as the price. DIY Kitchens excelled when compared to the cost and quality of other kitchen suppliers and we will be sure to recommend the company to others.'
Sue from Lincolnshire 'Here are the photos of my kitchen, we ordered the Malton Cashmere.'
Nicola & Dan from Yorkshire 'The quality of the cabinets and doors is so much better than any other kitchen we have had. We heard about DIY kitchens mainly through social media and DIY Kitchens was the most competitive price out of the quotes we had.'
Kate & Hai from Wolverhampton 'We'd heard about DIY Kitchens through the vast amount of recommendations we'd seen on social media, we loved the online design tool, which gave us the freedom to tweak and perfect our design. The process has been fantastic and the quality is superb, we couldn't have been happier with the finished result especially when we've saved ourselves between £10K to £15K based on other quotes.'
Katie from London 'Here are photos of our new DIY Kitchen! We were recommended online by Alex Steadman of The Frugality. Great quality of drawers and we ordered it in white, so we could paint it. Really love the pull out larder and the planning tool was really intuitive and great customer service. So much cheaper than any other quotes we received (almost half).'
John from Selby 'Here are some photos of our kitchen from DIY Kitchens. It's lovely quality with a good finish and attention to detail. We heard about you from my son, who has a DIY kitchen and we liked the quality. We only got a quote from DIY Kitchens.'
Chris from Canterbury 'It’s not the first time I bought from DIY Kitchens. As before, very helpful aftersales team who make sure you've got all your bits & pieces. Delivery team is fantastic and very careful too. On top of all that, you save a lot on high quality kitchen. I would recommend to everyone and will buy again for the next project.'
Laura from Strathdon '
I heard about DIY kitchen from a friend whose daughter had bought a kitchen from you. She and her daughter were very complimentary about the quality and service from DIY kitchens.
We designed the kitchen ourselves, which was probably a mistake. It would have been far easier to let DIY kitchens' planner do it for us. Anyway, we did manage eventually ....and DIY kitchens were brilliant about adding on various items at a later date because we had got it a bit wrong sometimes!!
Our joiner was very complimentary about the quality of the units and could not believe how inexpensive they were. We love the colour and the finish of the doors and especially the soft close hinges!
We had got 2 quotes from local kitchen suppliers and they were £7,000 and £8,000 MORE expensive than DIY kitchens. We got our kitchen and then added in our whole utility, since it was then affordable to do it too.
From start to finish, DIY Kitchens has been brilliant. Any queries and you can talk to someone on a phone or drop and email and they always get back quickly with an answer. Which was such a boost.
The delivery drivers also went above and beyond and delivered in drifting snow when loads of roads were closed they did a 200 mile detour to get to us. Absolutely phenomenal! My local postman didn't bother!!'
Craig from Jersey 'My wife and I are renovating our house, and it was our builder who recommended DIY Kitchens to us having fitted many kitchens from you before. We were cautious but trusted him, and we are very happy with the end result.
The price was far lower than anything else that we could have sourced from local suppliers but we ordered samples and it was the quality that really impressed us - the great price was a bonus. All the units were delivered already built rather than being flat packed, and they were all very well packaged so despite having been trans-shipped after the initial delivery and enduring a sea crossing to Jersey there was no damage at all - plus everything that was ordered was exactly what was delivered too. That's how it should be of course, but too often isn't the case. The units felt really solid and well-built, plus the painted finish on our kitchen is superb and durable. It looks like it should cost a lot more than it did.
As you can see we have a lot of drawers and the runner mechanisms are very smooth and feel like they will last forever, and they are all soft close which makes them feel very plush.
The worktops are not from DIY, sorry. We sourced those locally due to needing speciality fitting, but we did order some engineered oak worktops from you, which our builder skilfully crafted into a bespoke breakfast bar and floating shelves above the hob. He says that the quality of these oak tops is very good, and unbeatable value too. We certainly love the look and feel of the oak, it brings a lovely natural warmth to the kitchen and looks fab.
By the way, I found the beta 3d planning tool very useful by the way. It took some getting used to but having a background in IT helped. Sure it has limitations but it was great to visualize our kitchen and we made many tweaks and changes after having seen the 3d model which was immeasurably helpful to us, so Thank you for making that available.'
Diana from Durham 'We were recommend by my brother who also purchased his kitchen from you. The build quality is good and the soft hinges are fabulous. Our kitchen is small but your wide variety of sizes and configuration options, allowed us to best utilise the limited space. The price point is also well matched or even better than other companies. This is the second kitchen we have done, as we did our sons first and we would always use DIY kitchens.'
Michael from Hull 'Here are some photos of my recently completed kitchen, which I LOVE!
I heard about DIY kitchens from loads of home accounts on Instagram, so considering how popular they are, I thought I’d give them a go!
I was not disappointed! The showroom has so much choice and the staff are SO helpful and friendly! The online planner tool is also the only one of its kind that I’ve used and is perfect if you’re a control freak like me, who needs to see every configuration possible in 3D before committing!
With the prices being so reasonable I was able to ‘upgrade’ to frosted glass panels on the drawers, hidden cutlery drawers, pull out pantry storage, timber door fronts and quartz tops! All of these ‘upgrades’ just make the kitchen feel so much more special and next level when compared to some of my friends new kitchens, which they’ve paid over twice the price for elsewhere!
I have already recommended DIY kitchens to many of my customers, who are just happy as I am! Thanks so much, will definitely always use you in the future! '
Vicky & Matt from Cambridgeshire 'Just an email to say how impressed we were with DIY kitchens from start to finish. You could not have been more helpful, with the added bonus of no pushy salespeople!
We completed our extension, that we have built ourselves, and we think you would agree that the new kitchen is a million times. Better than what we had before! Thanks again DIY KITCHENS. I have been recommending you to everyone!'
Helen from Sidcup 'Fantastic quality, exceptional customer service, and good delivery time, once our design was checked and completed by their team. So refreshing to have the time and freedom to design our own kitchen - changing our plan several times, with the aide of the 3D visualiser. Delivered ready to install!'
John & Gill from Durham 'Excellent quality kitchen and worktop. Previous kitchen was Howdens. DIY is better quality and the price was very competitive, even against flatpack. The showroom was excellent. I fitted the kitchen myself, apart from the electrics. If anyone wants to fit their own kitchen then I highly recommend it!'
Annah & Alex from York 'When we started to look for a new kitchen my father in law suggested that we go to the DIY Kitchens showroom and that it would inspire us, and it did just that.
Using the software to build and place the order was easy and actually really enjoyable. We got to take our time, making sure everything was right and looked how we wanted it to.
We love the colour and quality of the kitchen, it came pre built and the internal cupboards are all a wood look finish, which when shopping around, we found most kitchen companies charged extra for.
The value for money is amazing and the customer service has been exceptional. Everyone who comes to our home comments on the kitchen and asks where it’s from and we love telling everyone we’ve planned it all by ourselves using DIY Kitchens!'
Helen from Kent 'Having spent hours in my local showroom trying to get them to design a kitchen to my specifications and failing, my brother recommended I try diy-kitchens. He had previously fitted two of these with great results and I am so glad I took his advice!
My brother-in-law helped me to use your planner and I sent off our first design. Sophie from the webbot team was absolutely brilliant in suggesting tweeks and revising the plan, so that it included all I wanted and looked more symmetrical. Her speed in getting back to me and her patience in answering all my queries were second-to-none! The 3D planner meant that I could see exactly what the finished result would be, which was so helpful.
I sent off for samples of the doors and colours as wanted to see the quality of the units, not being able to visit the showroom. I was very pleased with the sturdiness and finish and chose the Shaker Stanbury design in White. Being a pensioner on a small budget and wanting to future-proof my kitchen, I chose mainly drawers, so as to be able to get to the back of the units, and am especially pleased with my tall larder with the pull-out drawers.
My washing-machine and boiler are now neatly hidden behind matching doors which were supplied with the units, The large range of different-sized cupboards and drawers enabled me to put everything away in their own space, and re-cycling bins are no longer visible either!
Delivery was as scheduled, and they even checked that their lorry would be able to access the narrow entrance to my mews property by sending a smaller vehicle.
There are some photos of my new kitchen with some before shots as well, and have already recommended diy-kitchens to friends, who are very impressed with the results of mine. '
Laurie from Penzance 'We live in a Victorian townhouse and we wanted our new kitchen to reflect the character of the house. We switched kitchen and dining spaces so we could have a bigger kitchen. It was a lot of work, and cost is always a consideration.
We had used DIY Kitchens for our kitchen in London several years ago, so we knew the quality and service was great. Aside from an end panel which needed to be exchanged, it went pretty smoothly, especially considering we are all the way down in Penzance!
We also got the oak worktops and the Belfast sink from DIY Kitchens. We particularly like the worktops, they are beautiful. The last picture is a before shot, the dining room is where the kitchen is now.'
Mike & Mel from Kent 'Small but perfectly formed. We had hopped to build a much bigger kitchen in a new extension. However by the time we came to do our new kitchen this was beyond our budget.
We found DIY kitchens by accident after many Internet searches. After a lot of hard work fitting a new kitchen plan and a downstairs washroom in the space of the old kitchen, we ended up with a really good layout.
This was only possible because of the fantastic range of units. Lots of units in lots sizes, all easily accessible online, and not behind the barrier of a design service.
The website was easy to use and the order went through without any hitches. Everything arrived built and ready to fit. Well packaged and hand delivered by a good team. To keep the budget down, I had to do most of the work installing the kitchen from plastering to flooring. Installing the cupboards was probably the smoothest part.
We love our new kitchen and it’s probably better than had we gone for in our original much grander plan. '
Simon Truscott 'Here are some pictures, including a 'before'shot. I bought a Linton Dove Grey Shaker Kitchen.'
Philip from Middlesbrough 'We love our new kitchen, the quality of the units and doors are very good. I especially liked the fact that they were all delivered assembled and the units are colour matched to the doors. This makes them look really high end and we have had many compliments from friends and family.
The fitting instructions were very comprehensive and all parts and accessories well packed. I especially liked the quality of the base unit feet, very solid, robust and easy to adjust.
We did have an issue with 2 missing cupboard doors which unfortunately took 5 months to be resolved. The customer service was very good and responsive, it was just an issue with stock availability which was quite frustrating.
If it wasn't for that issue, I'd happily give 5 star for service and quality, never the less I still recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone who asks.
The process of purchasing is easy with the online kitchen planner, showroom, help pages and communication.
When compared to other kitchen companies the price was very competitive in some cases half the price for a like for like product. '
Julie & Rick Hill from Cleethorpes 'I chose DIY kitchens as I was recommended by several friends. By far the best showroom, quality, price and service. Can't fault in any of these categories. '
Elaine from Northumberland 'Here are some pictures of our kitchen. I’ve included the view from our sitting room as we’ve bought and installed wall cupboards and shelves and painted them to match the kitchen units. My clever husband installed the units although he’s a metal fabricator by trade! '
Leanne from South Wales 'I'm really pleased with our new kitchen! The quality and wide variety of unit/drawer options available from DIY Kitchens means we have been able to completely change the layout and has transformed how we use this space.'
Claire from Norfolk 'We went for Stanbury Dove Grey and Stanbury Carbon. I highly recommend this supplier and kitchen. From start to finish. There was always someone to ask if needed help with measurements etc. I was a bit dubious but I can honestly say that all our worries were taken away when we saw the quality of the kitchen, how well it was packed and the final product when all together. Thanks DIY kitchens I now don’t have to wash up in the bath 🥰
The worktop is gorgeous too. Fitters very friendly and did a first class job . An amazing kitchen at half the price of one from know retailers!'
Phil from North Yorkshire 'Overall impression is Excellent. Dekton worktop is superb and can withstand anything!'
Jill from Windsor 'My DIY kitchen has recently been finished and I am delighted with it. Quality of the units is excellent. The oak worktops finish the look of the Shaker kitchen perfectly and it suits my Grade II listed cottage.
The service from start to finish has been exemplary and the webbot help throughout the process was brilliant! I ordered the Belfast sink, taps and door handles which look very good in the antiqued pewter finish. My kitchen fitter remarked on the quality of the products too. One item was damaged and sent back with absolutely no problem or query and a replacement speedily replaced.
I would highly recommend DIY kitchens, value for money is without question amazing.'
Natasha from Buckinghamshire 'We absolutely Love Love Love our kitchen! For me it’s a dream come true and ha our first Christmas in our new kitchen was just such an incredible feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. The quality of the kitchen is fabulous, with the solid wood painted doors I was very protective of them at the start but we are 9 months in and I’ve learnt that they are actually far more robust that I had imagined.
We are so pleased with our DIY kitchen that we have just ordered a Linwood Utility room too. I would not hesitate to recommend DIY and personally would not go anywhere else in the future. '
Simon from Cheshire 'Excellent build quality and finish at a very competitive price. The solid oak worktop is amazing value for money. I fitted the entire kitchen myself, which highlights how easy they are to install, as I’m no expert!'
Jonathan from Leeds 'We ordered our kitchen early last year, it arrived in April, but despite the promises of our builders to have the kitchen area ready for April they ended up running 4 months over and I wasn't able to fit the kitchen until the autumn (6 months of living around the boxes! not DIY kitchen's fault, but we were so pleased to finally get it installed!).
The kitchen is great and we are really pleased with it and the transformation of the space. From arranging visits to look at your showroom (during COVID), to the helpful team who were able to check my kitchen plans before ordering, our interactions with DIY kitchens were all really positive. The Kitchen planner tool was brilliant, and being able to visualise the finished kitchen was really helpful.
We are really impressed with how solid, functional, and well designed the cabinets all are. The fitting guides you provided were really helpful for a first time DIY fitter! And the variety of cabinet styles we were able to choose from have meant that we now have a kitchen that really works for us.
We heard about DIY kitchens through researching where to get the best quality fitted kitchen from, and we are not disappointed. For the cost, the quality is so much better than all the competitors we looked at.'
Samantha from Cambridge 'The kitchen is of wonderful quality and was really easy and enjoyable to design. The customer care team have been super helpful. I heard about DIY kitchens through a friend - their kitchen looked amazing.'
Kieran from Sheffield 'Very pleased with the quality - everyone always says how good it looks, and the builder said it was good quality also. The free flapjack and tea was a bonus!'
Leanne from Huddersfield 'The kitchen is fantastic quality, we loved that we were able to choose any bespoke colour and went with the Clayton Cashmere for the main run of cupboards and Clayton in bespoke painted for the island.
We fitted the kitchen ourselves and couldn’t be happier. The worktop is also a Calacatta quartz from DIY kitchens. I’ve included a before picture too. It’s unrecognisable now!'
Ellie from East Sussex 'Here are some photos of our kitchen, as well as some before photos of the space. '
Viki from Hertfordshire 'Our Norton bespoke painted DIY kitchevnhas now been installed! We had our kitchen, utility and entrance hall fitted with DIY units and we are so pleased with the quality and value that next we are exploring a bookcase wall using wall cupboards and end panels to make shelves. The bespoke colours are a perfect match.'
Tom & Samantha from Norfolk 'We are really impressed with the quality of the kitchen, the units look amazing and feel high quality. Found the website and support staff great for ordering online and would recommend to friends and family. We heard about DIY from recommendations on a home improvement Facebook page.'
Lisa from North Yorkshire 'We are so thrilled with our fabulous kitchen we just had to share! '
Alex from Leamington Spa 'The kitchen has a good quality feel, units robust and well put together, nice looking result. '
Jonathan from Dartford 'We love this kitchen, and it turned out so well. Nick Morris You Tuber gave a good oversight on lots of kitchen manufactures and basically said he would always use DIY Kitchens. I then went from there.
Designing the kitchen on the DIY Kitchen website meant you could play around with designs. So many sizes of units. Ordered and delivery in around 7 weeks. Top quality units, doors, draws and hardware. Fully built with doors and draws. Top it off with quartz worktops. Laser measure to fit perfectly. Could not recommend enough.'
Pat from Pontefract 'Attractive units & great quality. DIY kitchens were recommended.'
Gary & Nicola from Nottingham 'We would like to thank you for the excellent service we received from you.
From our first visit to your showroom we were bowled over with the quality of the units, and our new kitchen has surpassed our expectations. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with quickly by your after sales team.
We would definitely recommend you to our friends and family.'
Chris from Aylesbury 'Some pictures of our finished kitchen, fitted by myself.
We were recommended DIY kitchens by our builder who was completing an extension for us. He had a few clients who had used them before. We were incredibly impressed with DIY kitchens. From ordering, to deliver to after sales support, the care and attention taken by the team was fantastic.
Designing the kitchen on the website was very easy and ordering easier still. Delivery was on time and the gents delivering the order were helpful and very careful. Fitting was very straightforward. When I did make a couple of errors, getting replacement parts was simple and straightforward.
The quality of the units and doors is amazing. We visited a lot of renowned showrooms and I would say that the quality of the units and accessories is as good if not better than all of those when particularly considering those places wanted over double the price. Our builder who had recommended DIY kitchens to use, was equally impressed as were our worktop suppliers and fitters.
'
Stella from Conwy 'Here are the pictures of the DIY kitchen we installed in July/August. Really pleased with the quality and the service we received, which was exceptional.'
Denis from Derbyshire 'Completed kitchen pictures. I heard about you by word of mouth from a building inspector. '
Nicky from Cornwall 'The whole process with DIY Kitchens was perfection from start to finish. I came across the company through a search on the internet.
The designing online was fun and easy with great support throughout the stages. All questions were answered fully and sometimes with additional useful suggestions.
The delivery was faultless, despite our narrow lane and entrance to our property. Our builders were very impressed, having never fitted a DIY kitchen before, they felt the quality was better than several well known kitchen makers. I made a recommendation to our electrician and he was so grateful for the saving he made that he did part of his work for free!!
Despite having a slight dent or scratch on a couple of doors there was no quibble or problem to replace them very quickly.
Since having the kitchen installed and living with it for a while we have been impressed by how easy it is to keep the doors clean in comparison to previous kitchens we have had.
We have had so many compliments on the sage colour and beautiful wooden worktops. Another touch friends love is the matching tongue and groove panels with those on our walls. The kitchen is the heart of the home and my DIY kitchen has certainly stolen my heart. I am so glad I chose them.'
Sefora from Cambridge 'We chose a Norton Dove Grey and Cobham blue. We heard from DIY Kitchen through social media, mainly by home renovations accounts who had one of your kitchens. When it was time to buy our kitchen, we visited a few big retailers and got some quotes, but prices were quite high and the unit quality wasn't that impressive.
I started to use the Online DIY Planner to get an understanding of what kitchen we could get for our budget and the price was very competitive to say the least! Despite the distance, we eventually decided to visit the showroom, which was absolutely worth it as we got to feel the units and their quality. I absolutely loved using the Online Kitchen Planner, I found it very easy to use and gave me complete freedom to customize every single piece to our needs.
I found big kitchen retailers designs quite cramped, as they just want to sell you as many units as possible without taking in consideration how you would actually use that space. Choosing the worktop was a bit more tricky because for some reason I struggled to find online reviews about it. I saw that most of the people who got a DIY Kitchen bought the worktop from local suppliers. We wanted quartz worktop and we got some quotes from local suppliers which were all very expensive and didn't even include a downturn.
We ordered a few quartz samples from DIY website, tested them with multiple stains and eventually decided to go for it as the price was very good, nearly half of what local suppliers quoted us. We chose White Carrara quartz worktop and we could have not been happier with it! Choosing a worktop from a 10x10 samples wasn't easy and again, I was quite nervous about the whole template and installation, but the people for Natural Stones have been absolutely perfect and professional from start to finish. The White Carrara worktop is exactly how I wanted it to be, with very subtle but very elegant marble veins, I think it's one my favorite feature.
Kitchen delivery went pretty well too, there was no damage at all. My husband fitted the kitchen, which he never done before, but these type of kitchens are pretty easy to install if you have the right tools and are used to DIY jobs. We honestly could not be happier with our kitchen, the whole process was easy and smooth.
We got a solid wood kitchen with quartz worktop for the best price and we now have a very social space to share with our guests.
'
Carly from Essex 'Here are some pictures of our DIY kitchen we installed in a self build last year. All looking good and very happy with the results. '
Nabil from Manchester 'Here are some photos of my kitchen from DIY Kitchens. Also a photo of the previous kitchen. We did do some structural changes to make it a galley kitchen rather than a 'U'.
My wife and I are in love with this kitchen. It looks super modern and doesn't feel cheap and brittle at all. The cabinets and doors are all extremely high quality with a painted finish rather than a laminate wrap, giving a high end look to your kitchen. The handles give a slick finish to the kitchen and the colour compliments the Cobham Blue. I'd highly recommend DIY Kitchens for anyone looking for a high quality personalisable kitchen.
My wife was researching kitchens and came across the goldmine that is DIY Kitchens. Painted units, high quality finishes, all at trade prices! It was almost too good to believe at the time. Highly recommend DIY Kitchens for affordable yet extremely high end kitchens.'
Simon from Cambridge 'We heard of DIY Kitchens through our contractor who had previous experience of fitting their product. The design tool was easy to use and the feedback and tips from the design team was invaluable in finalising our dream kitchen.
A few items were damaged in transit, but these were replaced swiftly and without issue. Once fitted, we were thrilled with our new kitchen. The sleek, matte finish of the Cobham Blue has been admired by workmen and visitors alike, and the solid oak worktops look and feel like they will last us for many years to come.
We have also recommended the website to family who are about to embark on their own kitchen renovation and who have been coveting ours for several months now!'
Charles from Lincolnshire 'Here are some photos of my kitchen, supplied by yourselves. I love the quality of the doors and units, especially the ability to custom colour the units to go best with the doors. I love the colour and the service is amazing. '
John & Debbie from Northumberland 'Having trawled several high street suppliers and been disappointed (by range, colour choice and price) we visited DIY Kitchens showroom and were very impressed. Great range, good colours and highly competitive prices. Expert help at hand with absolutely no sales pressure. Well worth a visit (even if you have to travel a fair distance). We brought home some colour samples and ordered sample doors to see what they would look like at home. The quality of cabinets, door fronts and end panels are superb. The cabinets are robust and well put together. Fronts and panels are well designed, with properly finished joints. All in all, excellent throughout.
Following our own design, we went for the Linwood option with two-tone grey finish (Heron Grey for wall cupboards and Carbon for floor and tall units). We chose tongue-and-groove effect end panels and are delighted with the result. DIY Kitchens gave us everything we wanted in style, colour and unit choice. They gave us better quality than other suppliers’ top of range at a very competitive and affordable price – in fact for less than a popular high street brand’s basic range.
The ordering process was straightforward, with options easy to understand and select. Delivery was when stated and the delivery team were very helpful and efficient. Each item was very well packed in sturdy cardboard, with edge protection where needed. All arrived in excellent condition ready to unpack and install. The delivery team took our sample doors away and we were refunded quite quickly. After-sales communication was professional and efficient. We ordered extra touch up paint (just in case) and a small item we were missing was delivered speedily.
Installation of the kitchen units was straightforward; we were particularly impressed by the sturdy legs on floor units, which were easy to adjust. We used full length hanging rails for the wall units and had the solid surface worktops made and installed by professionals.
We love our kitchen, it’s exactly what we wanted at a great price. It has been admired by friends and family and we would not hesitate to recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone. We will definitely use them again ourselves, whenever we need a new kitchen in the future.'
Sue & Brian from Burton on Trent 'We think your kitchens are fabulous, excellent value for money and quite frankly they outshine all the others we considered. Also, your customer service is second to none. We installed it ourselves and despite a few hiccups, I’d definitely do it again - you learn by your mistakes! We found you on the internet but after that a friend recommended you. Thanks for all your help.'
Katie & Martin from South Devon 'We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen from DIY kitchens. We heard about your company from an online forum that my husband was on during our build/renovation. We reached out online to see if there was anyone local to us who had a diy kitchen that we could visit to see the quality etc, which we did.
We enjoyed the design process and my husband spent many an hour reconfiguring our plans and wishes. However, after delivery we soon realised there had been an error with our order. The whole kitchen had been painted in in the blue when it was only meant to be the island that was blue and the rest white. The mistake was eventually corrected after another few mishaps along the way, but we were very happy with the service we received, and after all the stress, dust and chaos of living through a fairly substantial build and renovation with two young children, we couldn't be more thrilled with the final outcome.
The quality is amazing. I couldn't fault it at all and I wouldn't change a thing! I think you'll agree, this kitchen has a major WOW factor. Every visitor has been blown away. We're so proud of our home and we would absolutely love to win this competition.'
Wesley & Rachel from Doncaster 'Love our kitchen everything is high quality and looks great. It's the Clayton with walnut worktops. We were recommended DIY kitchens by a friend and glad we listened.'
Rebecca from Surrey 'Here’s some pics of our kitchen. We love this kitchen, especially the colour. The drawer quality is excellent. Service has been great from DIY Kitchens. Thank you! '
Nicola from Edinburgh 'We are very impressed with the quality of the kitchen and have had so many compliments on it. We had great fun designing it and found it very useful, having so many types of units to choose from. I first heard about DIY Kitchens on a popular parenting forum and couldn't believe how much of a better kitchen you get for less money than the ones we had been looking at in traditional kitchen shops.'
Bianca from London 'I was so impressed by how customisable DIY kitchens was. We were able to choose a bespoke colour as well as units perfectly sized for our requirements, so we could use every inch of space available to us. The result is a kitchen that works hard (my partner is a chef!) and looks great. The quality is great and the price is unbeatable!'
Dionne & Rob from Norfolk 'DIY Kitchens allowed us to replace our large kitchen on a budget. We did the whole kitchen ourselves except the worktops, which were ordered and fitted by DIY kitchens. Really impressed with the whole process from ordering to delivery, to the organising and fitting of the worktops. The quality is as good, if not better than other kitchens we visited at high street stores.'
Andy from Hampshire 'Our builder recommended DIY Kitchens as he has fitted many in various housing developments. I was able to design the kitchen myself using the "DIY Kitchens online Planner"
We are very happy with the quality of finish and the carcasses seem very robust. We also purchased the quartz worktop through DIY Kitchens and I am very impressed with the whole process from survey to fitting. The kitchen looks amazing.'
Ellie from Lincolnshire 'We came to the Pontefract showroom to have a look at your kitchens and as soon as we got home we sent our order off super early being too excited, there was so many styles and types we wanted but we love our warm and cream colours well, also staying at a budget as we are renovating our full house. I love all my space, as well as the breakfast bar in the morning for a quick eat and go.
Ordering was super easy and being able to get the visual option to really make you see what your kitchen would look like before ordering, is a brilliant tool to use!
I definitely recommend DIY kitchens and even after ordering they have always helped us out with questions and support.'
Julie from Cheshire 'We waited a long time to get rid of our 25 year old orange pine MFI kitchen and then Covid got in the way delaying us further. It was worth the wait though. Our kitchen is only small but we have had a lot of people contacting us about it.'
Deb from Essex 'Overall impression, excellent. We were very impressed with not only the product, but the after care of the service too. Quick delivery and good support. Our kitchen fitter was impressed with the quality of the units.'
Ian from Worcestershire 'Here are some pictures of my kitchen, i'm really pleased with it. After sales service was superb with a damaged door and one mistake I made fitting handle. Couldn't fault the service. I've recommended you to several people.'
Nicky from Warwickshire 'We have been absolutely delighted with our kitchen from you, its the look I was looking for and the cornflower blue is lovely.
The quality is fantastic, we have had no problems with it. I found the website brilliant and the customer care was faultless.'
Rob from Leicestershire 'The kitchen has given an impression of increased room size and light factor. The quality of units and accessories are exceptional and can be kept clean and fresh as new at all times. We heard of DIY kitchens from a friend who had also ordered units etc.'
Juliet from Gloucestershire 'I absolutely LOVE my kitchen. Getting it done probably saved my having to move again. The quality of the units is punching way above its weight, pricewise. In other words, it is a fantastic deal for the money. Even my kitchen fitter, who even to the last, was trying to get me to order from Howdens (because that’s what he usually fitted) gave in with good grace and was astonished that it all arrived with everything built and fitted inside et cetera et cetera. It made his job a lot easier. He praised the quality, the fitments and the ease of fitting and I think his praise carries much more weight than mine, because it was hard won.
I love the styling, the weight of everything (the doors feel like a quality item because they have a solidity to them) even the weight of the brass door handles as cheaper fitments feel much lighter. It was completely up to specification and even better in reality than I had anticipated. The worktops are a delight; again, top quality, beautifully fitted, look stunning, easy to clean and the person who came to measure them was such a help to me. I still had a decision to be made with regards to the end of the worktop near the sink and he totally knew what I was talking about and assisted me to make exactly the right decision.
I had crawled all over your showroom when you reopened after lockdown (yes! I came all that way) so I knew that the product was good, but the end result far exceeded my expectations – and everyone elses. My partner (who doesn't live with me) didn’t believe that I would actually get it all together (it took me nearly 2 years in total!) and I made him shut his eyes as he came into the room so I could watch his expression – which was stunned.
As I say, I could go on and on and if you decide to use my pictures (lovely if I won the money but I don’t care, you can use them anyway, as I’m so grateful to you) I can give you more stories to go with them if you like - quality of your sales staff, post sales help, use of website et cetera. And if I (grey haired OAP) can manage your website, anybody can - tho I do have feedback if you want it.
I just have one complaint – when are you going to start doing wardrobes? I need some!!!'
John from Shropshire '
My wife and I found our current Bungalow in December 2020 and moved in at the end of April 2021 following a lengthy conveyance process. From the initial viewing, we knew that the aged kitchen would need to be totally redesigned as it was a kitchen-diner with ancient kitchen units, a hideous, red tiled floor and a miniscule dining area. I have provided a link to “before” images to illustrate what we were up against.
During the months between offer and completion, and with the help of your excellent on-line kitchen planner package, I designed a replacement kitchen to fully utilise the space available, dispensing with the impractical dining area. The resulting design was ready to go even before we moved in!
For peace of mind, we invited a number of local and national contactors to measure up and quote for the job and were stunned by the huge amount of money they wanted for the units and fittings compared with your prices. After a trip to Pontefract to assess the quality and finish of your product we were 100% sure that the new kitchen would be ordered from DIY Kitchens. We loved your Stanbury Range finished in Alabaster, and with help from your excellent planning support team, soon finalised the full list of units and fittings that would be needed to complete the job.
We started the kitchen project in January 2022. The order was shipped from your factory two weeks ahead of schedule and everything we ordered arrived safely and in perfect condition.
Apart from first-fix electrical work and some of the plumbing, I carried out the assembly and fitting work myself during evenings and weekends. Some 7 weeks later the job was complete, and we absolutely love it.
The quality of the product is top notch. All the fittings are well made and every cupboard and drawer closes softly with a touch. I cannot speak highly enough of the way we were looked after by your team throughout the process. Top marks for service standards and knowledgeable staff. The product is of the highest quality, and nobody should have any concerns about ordering their dream kitchen on-line from DIY Kitchens because they can be assured that it will exceed their expectations.
The total cost involved was virtually half of that quoted by the well-known national providers and, in all instances, your quality exceeds that offered by them too. Well done and many thanks DIY Kitchens.'
Rachel & Mike from Cambridge 'We are so pleased with the Kitchen. We couldn’t decide on colours so went for two! Doors are great quality and we also love the worktop from natural stone surfaces.
We heard about DIY Kitchens as my husband has fitted one for a customer and thought the quality was great and very reasonably priced.
'
Sarah from Derbyshire 'Very impressed with quality of units and handles. Our installer also commented on the quality of the workmanship. We were recommended DIY kitchens by my sister, after she had her kitchen units from yourselves.'
Darren from East Yorkshire 'Here are some before and after pictures of our kitchen. We heard about DIY kitchens from a family member who got their kitchen from DIY kitchens and recommended you to us.
The kitchen is great quality, good value and looks brilliant. We have recommended DIY kitchens to other people who are thinking of getting a new kitchen.'
Kate from London 'Totally in love with our new kitchen. I looked at a few other kitchen companies but loved that I could have a bespoke colour with DIY kitchens. Also loved that I could plan the kitchen myself using the easy to navigate planner. I’d never done anything like this before but still found it simple to use. I made use of a few of the blog posts that DIY kitchens have done on things like ‘how to build a butler's pantry’ which helped loads. And the butler's pantry is what i get loads of comments on!
I also felt comfortable knowing I could have exactly what I wanted and not thinking that a kitchen designer might be upselling me extras I didn’t need. I had a few queries throughout the planning stages and the customer service team were always really quick to respond.
We’ve also rented it out for photoshoots meaning that we are getting money back on the cost of our kitchen.
We’ve had our kitchen for about 4 months now and can’t imagine life before. It's going to be a really tough year ahead financially, but we're happy knowing that we now have this amazing space to relax in now that we can't afford to go out as much! '
Polly & Chris from Hertfordshire 'We are so in love with our new space. The DIY kitchen planner was easy to use and the support available online made the process quick, fun and painless. We actually ended up visiting the fantastic showroom in Pontefract but really there was no need. The quality of the doors and units is above all that we saw with the competitors. The price tag was also considerably lower. Couldn't be happier!'
Jacqui from St Leonards on Sea 'I was originally going to choose a Howden’s Kitchen because I understand that the builders pref clients/customers to use them for ease if they need to replace kitchen parts; however, over Christmas I had the time to investigate other options. Time well spent. Thankfully, I was able to purchase a better quality kitchen from DIY Kitchens; making sufficient savings, which in-turn allowed me to pay for the majority of the White Goods. Win, Win.
The Builders were concerned; as was I, if things had to be replaced for any reason; because you can’t just pop to DIY Kitchens and change parts as they do with a Howdens Kitchen. DIY Kitchens dealt with replacements swiftly; but it did disrupt the build to a certain extent; some were down to DIY Kitchens and some down to the Kitchen Fitter’s mistake. However, I believe that the Kitchen Fitter was impressed with the quality of DIY Kitchen Units. '
Tracy & Peter from The Peak District 'We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen. It was really easy to plan and we had great help from the customer services team. Our builders were very impressed with the quality of the kitchen and the ease of installation. Our kitchen is fantastic and is admired by all our friends and family. Our son has recently had his new kitchen from DIY kitchens having seen ours.'
Annie from Derby 'Very pleased with our new DIY Kitchens kitchen units & worktops. High quality and looks very impressive.
I heard about DIY Kitchens from my daughter who also had DIY Kitchens kitchen units installed. Loved how they looked so went on her recommendation. You can see from the photos just how amazing it looks. '
Mark from Derbyshire 'A local carpenter told us about you, kitchen quality is superb and the doors are solid. Beautiful finish, best bit was all pre built, only put handles on and everything closes and opens perfectly.'
Glyn from Dorset 'Here are some pictures of my newly installed kitchen. Really happy with the build quality and ease of planning as designed the layout myself on the web planner saving a lot of money compare to other suppliers.
Installed by my carpenter onsite during the extension, which has increased my kitchen size by four. Was 3m x 4m but now 6m x 5.5m.
The delivery was quick, efficient and without issue. So would highly recommend DIY-Kitchens to anyone and have been. Everyone who’s seen the kitchen has commented on the quality of the products.'
Kevin from Louth 'The kitchen is excellent, very impressed with the quality, ease of installation, overall look, ability to customise perfectly to make the most of this very compact kitchen in our Louth AirBnB. '
Tammy from Shropshire 'Excellent quality cabinets. We were able to design a unique and personalised kitchen from DIY kitchens' extensive range of units and colours for our small kitchen extension. We wanted a 2 tone colour kitchen with a colour block for different walls. The cabinets extended into the old kitchen which is now the utility room, housing the washing machine, dryer, ironing board and pantry. Loved the option of the warm wooden interior of the cabinets which look lovely when the cabinet lights come on.
I came across DIY kitchens from a blog. I tried other kitchen suppliers and feel the DIY kitchens model of supporting the customer create their dream kitchen themselves is a very empowering and rewarding process. I have recommended you to everyone I know. Thank you DIY!
'
David & Geraldine from Anglesey 'We first heard about DIY Kitchens from a member of staff at a local builders merchant who had already fitted one of your kitchens and he highly recommend that we have a look at them. So we booked an appointment and a hotel for the night and headed over to view the showroom display. We were not disappointed, in fact we were spellbound and the advice/information about the construction, paint finishes and worktops was outstanding.
Upon returning home I set about fine tuning the design of the new kitchen. I wanted to future proof the design by incorporating as many drawers, swing out carousels etc along with built in appliances as we are not getting any younger and arthritis is already taking hold of hips and knees.
DIY Kitchens had all the necessary solutions with drawer packs behind doors, pull out vegetable storage in wire racks along with the full height integrated larder unit.
I have included some photographs of the before, during construction and of course the finished kitchen. I did all the work myself apart from the worktops which was done by Natural Stone Surfaces.
The kitchen units arrived on time and the guys that delivered them were really courteous and careful in bringing them into the bungalow through the patio door.
The units are solidly constructed and the whole kitchen assembly was straight forward and what impressed me the most was, you even supply a small bottle of touch up paint which meant that I could touch up the cut edges of the plinth and the ceiling light that I constructed from the surplus plinth that I ordered.
Everyone who has seen the kitchen says I has a wow factor and are so impressed with the quality of the units, colour combinations etc. which is a credit to DIY Kitchens and their product.
Thanks must also go to the staff who kept us fully informed at every stage from the initial order to the final delivery with regular updates via the support ticket service. Well done and a massive thanks to everyone at DIY Kitchens.'
Will from Buckinghamshire 'Here are some pictures of your Clayton Cashmere kitchen that I fitted.
Kitchen units are excellent quality and I had no issues with fitting. I ordered everything from handles to the worktops and all was very easy to do. Choice of unit sizes and styles were great. Worktops fitted within 6 days after template taken and are also excellent.
Only had an issue with a damaged shelf and creeky draw runner. All were resolved between Christmas and New Year. Can’t fault that! Showroom was the best I’d seen and is worth the drive. All in all very happy. '
Mrs Bridget from West Yorkshire 'We ordered from DIY-Kitchens and we are very pleased with the overall quality of all the units, doors etc (the worktop, handles and appliances were ordered elsewhere). We heard about DIY-Kitchens from a friend who had used the business.'
Andrew from Wigan 'The kitchen is high quality, easy to assemble, with everything you need. Customer service is also great with friendly staff.'
Richard from Doncaster 'Last year I built an extension on my house and when the time came to start looking at kitchens for it I did a lot of searching for recommendations for kitchen companies. I asked builders, kitchen fitters and people I knew who have had new kitchens and nearly everyone said go to DIY kitchens for quality and price, so I did and I’m extremely happy with it.
I couldn’t be happier with the kitchen itself and DIY kitchens as a company.
The quality of finish, materials and fixtures and fittings is 10 out of 10! From the 1st visit to the amazing showroom, order process, delivery to the final fitting was great. I highly recommend DIY kitchens!
'
Darren from Bedfordshire 'Here are photos of our kitchen. Very happy with the final outcome. Pleasure doing business.'
Tracey from Conwy 'I heard of DIY Kitchens through my Brother who lives in Dorset. Myself and my husband visited the showroom and were very impressed. Our home is a Welsh Longhouse dating back to 1709 with no straight walls and was a total refurbishment. The kitchen installed by my husband has finally been done. '
Stephanie from Sussex 'Firstly I would like to thank DIY-Kitchens for helping our kitchen dream become reality!
Fantastic prices, great choice, amazing quality and superb service all round!
I have sent standard pictures and also pictures with feature lights on to so show you guys our true transformation and have also uploaded a couple of before pictures (not renovated since the 1960s). My husband tiled our floor and my husband and father fitted our kitchen.
I found you guys online, however since found out about other friends and colleagues who have also gone through you and recommended you myself to many people.
'
Richard from Somerset 'Here are some before and after photos. Many thanks - absolutely fantastic.'
Steve from Hampshire 'I originally found DIY kitchens website by searching for kitchens on the internet, and DIY kitchens was subsequently recommended by a local builder.
We were very happy with our old kitchen layout, but we wanted to modernise it with lighter colours, but we didn't want to have to strip it back to a shell. DIY kitchens suited us perfectly as they have an extensive range of cabinets and drawers in a variety of sizes, colours and styles and their solid wood doors are available at sensible prices. We were able to select modern pan drawers to replace many of our old base units while retaining the overall layout of our kitchen, which allowed me to remove and replace existing runs of cabinets and wall units in phases. This enabled us to continue using the kitchen while we were modernising it.
We are extremely pleased with the quality of the carcasses, the drawers and the doors and the fact that everything arrives fully assembled, even with doors attached, makes installation very quick and simple.
My wife is thrilled with the lovely Linwood Sage Green solid wood doors and drawer fronts and I was extremely pleased with the way in which I was able to build up and submit my order on-line, without having to commit to a deposit before final planning.
DIY kitchen support team were very helpful both on-line and when contacted by telephone. I have already recommended DIY Kitchens to a number of people who are considering kitchen renovations.'
Debbie from Derbyshire 'We love our Stanbury Cobham Blue kitchen! Thank you, great quality and service.'
Julie from Norfolk 'The units arrived at the time stipulated with a really helpful delivery crew. We fitted this ourselves having done diy installations before. There were a couple of issues with items delivered but these were resolved really quickly with the after sales team. The quality of both the carcasses and doors are excellent. Therefore I would wholeheartedly recommend diy-kitchens.'
Ludmila from Monmouthshire 'Here are some pics of my fabulous new kitchen...I love it!!
The units are well made, solid and nicely finished. I have a first-class kitchen at a fraction of the price I would have paid elsewhere. My builders were impressed with the quality and ease of installation and I'm sure they will be recommending DIY Kitchens to other customers.
I found DIY Kitchens purely by chance through searching for kitchen ideas online. Definitely a great find and a great service. Thank you.'
Craig from Oxfordshire 'Here are some pictures of our new DIY kitchen installation. Best quality kitchen we have fitted and we have fitted quite a few in other properties over the years. First heard about you on Instagram @my_best_laid_plans'
Kevin & Sharon from Lancs 'Very impressed with the service we received right from the planning stage through to delivery.
Having selected online we then wanted to check out the units in real life, so had a day at the showroom, very professional set up and we'll worth it.
High praise from our own fitter who was really impressed with the quality of the cabinets and the internal fixings. We had one slight issue which was resolved immediately and without question.
We initial intended getting our worktops locally bit were let down at the last minute, we then sourced them through DIY and they were brilliant, fast and professional. The kitchen has been in 6 months now and we smile every day.
'
Nick from Rochester 'Receiving fully assembled units with doors on made the job so much easier. The units are great quality with Blum hardware all round. Customer service and quality control were excellent too.'
Mark & Denise from Kent 'Here are some photos of my new kitchen, completed in December 2021.'
Andrea from Hertfordshire 'We love our kitchen from you, the quality and finish is excellent and we have recommended you to many of our friends.
We chose the shaker style kitchen in cashmere colour which is a lovely soft grey. We think it is very versatile and will last for years.
We found your company online whilst looking for kitchen companies but we also had heard from another friend that your kitchens were very good.'
Mel from Leeds 'DIY Kitchens was recommended to us by a work colleague. The showroom was a great help to us in deciding on our final choices. The quality of all items and worktops was unbeatable. All staff from sales to delivery and after sales were knowledgeable and helpful at every instance. Well done.'
Arwel & Anne from North Wales '
After many weeks trying to get local kitchen suppliers to finalise a price for our kitchen design, my wife resorted to the internet and found DIY-Kitchens.
We were impressed by all of the useful and helpful information on the website, together the wonderful reviews from customers.
The kitchen planner was downloaded and within a few hours, we had our new kitchen planned out and we could see from the planner that we were within our budget, as the price totalled up as we added our cabinets.
DIY-Kitchens offered a far wider choice of cabinets, worktops and fittings than many of our local suppliers.
Contact with DIY-Kitchens during the planning stage was helpful and friendly and gave us the confidence to proceed. They checked our design, and we went ahead, very pleased with ourselves on the ease of the whole process.
The kitchen arrived on time, and we were delighted with the robust well-made units that we found easy to install ourselves. It just oozed quality.
The end result was a kitchen beyond our dreams and when friends and family call round they are equally impressed with DIY-Kitchens. We have recommended DIY-Kitchens to all our friends and family if they are looking for a new kitchen….and even if they are not! Thank You to all of the helpful staff at DIY-Kitchens.'
Chris from Dorset '
I found DIY kitchens from searching online and after exploring options for my new kitchen. I worked in architecture and so had a good idea of what I wanted.
What I found really easy was the online visualiser, I was able to quickly put together what I wanted and get a price. I actually only bought the kitchen units from DIY kitchens as I had already sourced worktops from a local fitter.
It was this flexibility that actually makes DIY kitchens a great supplier. I had explored other kitchen suppliers but diy came out the most cost effective.
When it came to fitting the kitchen, the units came preassembled, which made things really easy. I had help from a family member, who was a carpenter and had fitted hundreds of kitchens from various main kitchen suppliers (the ones I had actually got prices from) but he was so impressed with the quality, he now always looks to recommend DIY kitchens to his customers.
I opted for many of the upgrades such as soft close hinges, drawer sides etc., which were all good value for money. Everything was easy to install and no issues when fitting. '
Sarah from Bristol 'Here are some photos of our kitchen. A Norton Bespoke. I absolutely love this timeless classic style, which I think looks very fresh with the white worktops.
The kitchen is a split level galley so not huge. My goal was to future proof the layout with lots of drawers, incorporate new built-in appliances eg, microwave and wine fridge, and achieve maximum possible worksurfaces. Your reduced depth cabinets also enabled us to maximise storage under the breakfast bar.
We’re very pleased with the results. As is Dudley our dachshund! Thank you so much to your staff who spent a lot of time helping my husband at the design stage! '
Laura from The Wirral 'Excellent quality and I love my new kitchen. Heard about DIY from our builder and friends'
Dawn from Essex 'I'm extremely pleased with my new kitchen. I have the Dove Grey Malton shaker. Love the choice of doors in both colours and style and also the colour of interior units. I chose a matching light grey colour. '
Kumail from Harrow 'The quality feels great. We were very pleased with the order. We had a couple of damaged doors but this was resolved by the support team. '
Greg & Hilary from Warwick 'Excellent kitchen in our newly, extended living area. Very pleased with design, quality, use ability, ease of assembly, cost and help and advice by DIY kitchen personnel.
We love the whole kitchen but especially the larder and the tower storage unit. These 2 units have allowed us to move all small appliances and foodstuffs into the kitchen area providing ease of access. Surfaces and splash backs are quartz. Flooring is Ambiance washed oak. Definitely recommend.'
Edward from Redditch 'I have self-fitted 5 kitchens over the years, all from major high street suppliers and this kitchen was the easiest and most straightforward to fit.
The units are top rate and as they are self-coloured, there was no need for expensive and awkward end panels. The units are solid, well-made and sturdy. The worktops are superb and were fitted by a pair of great guys. We were recommended to you by a friend of my daughter in London, we have also passed on your details to others since fitting the kitchen.'
Paul from Dorset 'We are extremely pleased with the quality and build quality of the kitchen. The real oak doors are beautifully made and the natural finish provides a real warmth to the kitchen.
We are particularly pleased with the curved storage cupboards which provides a really special touch to the kitchen and always attached attention when we show people are kitchen. Another feature of the unit that particularly impressed us, was the supplied draw units which feel very robust and store all matters of items for years to come.'
Kay from Sheffield 'I was recommended your company by a relative. The quality and finish of the units and doors is great, and the kitchen fitters we used were very impressed. '
Jackie from Norfolk 'Not a big kitchen but now a gorgeous kitchen - Love the neutral Mussel colour and style of the Mussel Linwood range - husband has fitted Howdens, Kestral and John Lewis to name a few and was very impressed with the build quality of the units - matched with Natural Stone Surface worktop. Highly recommend DIY Kitchens ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you DIY Kitchen, you’ve made me very happy 😊 '
Les from Dorset 'The kitchen was fitted by Weeks Kitchen Installations and they (Father and Son) were really impressed and will be recommending your kitchens in the future. We are really happy we chose to buy from your goodselves. We liked the idea of sample doors and handles, which was very useful in our decision making.
The quality is amazing, in fact the fitter said it was as good, if not better than some other kitchen manufactures. The price saving I think was about £3,000, against other suppliers. Any problems and there were only few, were handle quickly and professionally.'
Samuel & Stephanie from Hampshire 'We brought our first home in March 2021, which required a full renovation. Samuel is a carpenter and has carried out all the works on our home, including designing and fitting the kitchen. Within his job, he’s fitted numerous kitchens from various manufacturers and has always felt particularly impressed with the quality of DIY kitchen units, and especially for the reasonable prices.
The kitchen came preassembled, making the fit easier and less time consuming. The customer service team were friendly, efficient and quick to resolve any issues (though of which were limited compared to experiences with other suppliers).
We plan to fit new kitchens into future renovation projects and will not hesitate to use DIY Kitchens again. Similarly, we’ve already had the pleasure of recommending them to neighbours and customers and look forward to seeing their end projects too.'
Sally from Cambridge 'The quality of the units is excellent. My kitchen fitted said the quality and make of the units is far superior to some German expensive makes of kitchen he has used before, for half the price. I am very pleased with my new kitchen and would recommend DIY Kitchens without a doubt to anyone.'
Kimberley from Oxfordshire 'We have been so impressed with the kitchen we ordered, it was a fraction of the cost of other kitchen sellers so we were a little dubious about the quality and whether we would receive the same level of customer service, also we were a little nervous about ordering the wrong thing but we had absolutely no reason to be concerned at all, the customer service was fantastic, they checked through our order and let us know if they had any recommendations for changes, they were very prompt with updates on the production of our kitchen.
All the cupboards came preassembled, so we just needed to be unwrapped and slot them into place!! Our kitchen is not the biggest (about 2.5m square) but the range of cupboards and accessories available made it so easy to make the best use of the space we have!
The kitchen, once fitted, has had no problems at all. The doors all have soft close catches and the draws run so smoothly. So many people don't believe the worktop is not real wood, it's such good quality. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone!! '
Lucie from West London 'We absolutely love our DIY kitchen, we heard about them online so didn’t hesitate to order some door samples. We were very impressed with the quality so next step was to plan the kitchen using their excellent ‘online kitchen planner’. This was great fun, playing around with different kitchen layouts and once we were happy with our final design we got the kitchen priced up - which was a significant amount cheaper than the other kitchen companies we had gone to. I recommend them to all my family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. It also feel greats buying from a family run British company.'
Keith from Hampshire 'The kitchen was high quality for the price and other than wrongly fitted runners on one unit (replaced in a week) and minor touch up work there were no real issues. The office and visiting technician were all terrific and quick to handle everything. Thanks DIY, we would use again. '
Annelise from Leeds 'We were recommended DIY kitchens by our joiner and were more than pleased with the quality of the kitchen and service we received. It was great to be able to look around the showroom to see the different styles and quality in person.
We decided to choose a shaker kitchen and wanted a navy colour. The standard colour choices were great and the quality of the units are brilliant. Our delivery arrived as planned and helpfully all the units are pre-built making the kitchen install even easier! We needed to speak with after sales a couple of times and the staff were more than helpful. We would definitely recommend DIY Kitchens.'
Hayley from Hertfordshire 'Sizing, colour, pattern and price of the kitchen is amazing. Any questions I had were answered swiftly by the knowledgeable customer service team, which was very helpful as measuring up was quite nerve wracking!
The delivery was on time and came with everything required including spare drawer holders. '
Faye from Bedfordshire 'I wanted to let you know how delighted I am with my heron great Malton kitchen. Fantastic service and quality!'
Zara from Bury St Edmunds 'We had undertaken an extension and renovation project and had a tight budget for our kitchen. As my birthday was in May, it was my request to travel to the DIY showroom as my birthday treat! I had taken a look at the online website and planner and was very impressed with what I had seen online. Thankfully my husband agreed and we made the 4 hour journey to the show room which was absolutely worth it. We were blown away by the price, selection of finishes, colour choice and the quality. We ordered shortly after our visit and we were kept informed regarding expected delivery.
The quality of the kitchen is top class. Our independent kitchen fitters passed comment on how well made the doors and units were. We are delighted with our Norton kitchen (Dakar). I now have more space than I could ever need with regards to both worktop and storage.
I would not hesitate to recommend DIY kitchens. They simply cannot be beaten when it comes to quality, affordability and ease of ordering. '
Samantha from Sheffield 'Here are some before and after pictures of our house extension and kitchen.'
Darren from Rotherham 'It was us who appeared on Dream Kitchen and Bathrooms with Mark Millar. Series 2, episode 1.
The overall impression was good, heavy kitchen units. Well made mechanisms such as closers, hinges and storage solutions. In love with our larder unit and gin cupboard! You were recommended by the fitter, who is a friend. Found no reason to go anywhere else. Great web support.'
Steve from Hempstead 'The kitchen looks great and easy to fit as already prebuilt, soft close is great.'
Nathan from Suffolk 'We knew about you from a Google search and your good reviews. Great service and a kitchen I am very happy with. Will definitely use again.'
Shelly from Hertfordshire 'Here are some photos of our kitchen once it was installed, we went for the Norton bespoke painted we absolutely LOVE it and are so so happy, we’ve recommended you to many of our friends who we know are looking at new kitchens.
I’ve included a before shot too. Our carpenter used the remaining end panels to make a bespoke unit on top of the fridge and blocked in above the units.
'
Sally form Bognor Regis '
I had had visits from two of your high street competitors and for one reason or another I didn’t feel happy with their advice. I was adamant that I wanted a corner hob as it was really the best placement and I was continually being told that this wasn’t possible, so I took to the internet and did copious amounts or research ( I’m afraid to say I’m a bit of a research nerd).
It was at this point I discovered DIY Kitchens. I contacted you and I started a lovely email relationship with a person called, if my memory serves me well, Louise, I explained my problem and straight away she advised me of different ways I could approach the situation. For me one of the best parts was having continuity, being able to correspond with the same person every time gave me a great deal of confidence that I was being looked after and I had chosen the best company to provide my kitchen.
When I told my kitchen fitter that I was having DIY Kitchens he was very pleased and reassured me that I would not be disappointed.
Well to cut a very long story short it turned out I wasn’t disappointed, far from it, the quality is excellent, all the units fitted perfectly and the finish is beyond my expectation. Having a rather unusual shaped kitchen meant that I needed a diagonal corner unit and also angled end units. The work tops had to be cut to match the end units and this was done perfectly.
My kitchen has since been admired by many people and I’m always happy to say who provided it... '
Heather from West Sussex 'We chose Linwood Cobham Blue with Natural Lancaster Oak cabinets for our bar area, and are really enjoying using it. We are very impressed with the quality of the cabinets and doors, and love how the antique copper bar handles tone in with the Iroko worktop.'
Rebecca from York 'I am absolutely thrilled with my Stanbury Dove Grey kitchen from DIY kitchens. After looking for sometime at other kitchen companies I felt DIY offered the quality, style and functionality I was looking for in a kitchen. Sturdy and stylish the quality of the units was what stood out for me the most and I would not hesitate to choose DIY kitchen products again. The process of designing the kitchen was easy, with fantastic online customer support, to the smooth stress free delivery service I enjoyed every step of the way. Thank you DIY kitchens, I now have the kitchen of my dreams!'
Elizabeth from Yarm 'Overall the quality of the kitchen is excellent, the service and help was also excellent, which I knew from hearing about DIY kitchens from my sister. '
David from Leeds 'We have been satisfied with the quality and the price of the kitchen units we ordered last year and with their use over the past six months. We are particularly impressed with the pull-out larder unit and the swing out base corner unit in both finish and practicality.
We heard about DIY Kitchens from my niece, who ad already ordered a kitchen from you. We made about six trips to the show room and received a lot of helpful advice from friendly staff.'
Gary & Tracey from Chatburn 'DIY kitchens were recommended to us by a friend. We couldn't be more delighted with our Norton Dove Grey kitchen. I have always fitted my own kitchens and used different well known suppliers, this is the best quality kitchen l have fitted. Excellent quality, well built and backed up with great customer service. Would highly recommend. '
Darren & Danielle from Staffordshire 'The kitchen quality is absolutely superb, the units are solid, well made, sturdy legs and everything coming ready built was a massive help. I was particularly impressed with the swing out larder and pull out bin units.
The best thing however was the customer service (especially an assistant named Dan) helping me out with what I needed to build a bespoke set of secret doors into our utility room and also our corner larder pull out coffee station!
The doors are fantastic quality and we were really happy with how the bespoke colour turned out on the island.
We heard about DIY kitchens purely through Instagram (building ribbons) after a competitor quoted us a silly price. Everyone on Instagram who used DIY had nothing but great things to say and the price was such good value and allowed us to stick within our renovation budget.'
Anna from Warrington 'We ordered a Stanbury Cashmere kitchen aand couldn't be more happy with the kitchen. The delivery went extremely smoothly and on time and the delivery team were fantastic, very polite, fast and friendly.
We didn't have any problem with the installation - all the units were in perfect condition and the packaging was great. The worktop was installed in 7 days. I've been using my kitchen now for several months and I'm very happy with it. The quality is amazing and it looks expensive.
I have lots of compliments for the kitchen and my friends can't believe the price. My favourite part is my integrated cupboards - it was easy to compose beautiful fitted wall of cabinets like it belonged to the house from the very beginning. They are spacious and overall really useful.
All in all, 10 out of 10 and I can't recommend DIY Kitchens highly enough. '
Irene from Hampshire 'I changed a room that was a storage utility room that was originally a garage into my superb kitchen in Malton Dove Grey.
I used to work in interior design and have designed and help order 3 previous kitchens for friends and family. It took me 9 months to finalise the design on my own.
I used DIY Kitchens because I used to live in West Yorkshire and love the quality and superb selection if units. All kitchen fitters love fitting your kitchens!'
Alice & Pete from Bedfordshire 'We were really impressed with the quality of the kitchen we received. The units and worktop are sturdy and very reasonably priced compared to other competitors.
The units come pre-assembled, so we were able to install the kitchen ourselves, even as DIY novices (without getting divorced!).
Overall we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen!'
Christine from Cambridge 'Everything I wanted in a kitchen, the colour and quality of the units are beautiful. I live in an old house and need a style that fitted in with the age of the house, but still looked stylish. I had a budget to work with to refit the whole kitchen, which I was able to keep to and still have good quality units.
I had many virtual kitchen designs from different companies, DIY kitchens offered the best price for the quality of their kitchens. I booked a show room visit which helped a lot in deciding which styles I liked, I then ordered a few samples to make my final decision on style and colour, everyone was helpful and polite (even when I made a mistake).
I enjoy spending time in my new kitchen, it's my chill out place in the house. '
Natasha from Sutton Coldfield 'This is the second kitchen I have purchased from DIY kitchens and would do so again. After initially finding the company online around 2012, I checked out the quality by visiting the factory. High quality doors and units at a fraction of the price; this time I used the online design planner and had my design checked before going ahead. I made a couple of mistakes on the first kitchen but these were resolved within a couple of days. This time a couple of items were lightly damaged but no quibbles about exchanging. Thank you for another beautiful kitchen.'
Rebecca from Halifax 'I absolutely love my shaker styler kitchen from you. It complements my parquet floor perfectly. The worktops, units and doors are of such high quality - so easy to clean and hardwearing, especially with a 2 year old who likes to wipe paint and food all over them! I love the space-saving cupboard space and the integrated design of the doors resulting in a sleek look. '
Sue & Steve from Lancashire 'We renovated our bungalow last year and the kitchen was fitted in September. Quality is amazing, we love the colours. Visited the showroom first which was huge but used online planner. Very easy to use and the help and advice given from Briony was terrific. Customer service and delivery perfect. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. '
Ian from Leeds 'Absolutely superb quality. The 22mm doors make all the difference compared to other suppliers like Howdens. This is our dream kitchen for our forever home so we went for the Linwood bespoke painted range as my wife wanted a very particular green. We are really pleased with the outcome - not had one issue since installed and only hear wonderful comments from visitors.'
Olivia from West Yorkshire 'Here are our kitchen and utility photos We are very happy with the quality of the kitchen. We heard about you through a friend who had also bought a kitchen from you and was also very impressed with the quality and value for money of the kitchen.'
Christine from Notts 'Our kitchen was installed into our new kitchen/diner last year. It's only small but we love it.
We heard about DIY kitchens from our daughter who bought one in 2020. The showroom is the best we'd ever been to.....tidy, organised, clear and comprehensive.
We're delighted with the quality of our kitchen. I especially like the large drawers which make access to items do easy. The after sales service was excellent. Staff were very helpful even though I'd made a couple of errors when ordering. All in all a great choice.'
Jay from Liverpool 'I went for Linwood and love the quality and grain effect. The units are rock solid, which made fitting the kitchen a doddle (I'm an amateur DIYer and did it myself). The price we saved by ordering through DIY-Kitchens enabled us to buy quartz worktops and a range cooker.
The huge range of sizes for units and doors was also a big factor - we've made maximum use of our space, fully tailored to our needs.'
David Heather from Inverness 'We absolutely love our new kitchen. The ordering was straightforward and it was comforting to know that our order was checked as we had forgotten to add a couple of bits. The delivery was quick and the men very friendly. Thank you so much.'
Sarah and Darren from Warwick 'We chose the Norton range, with units in carbon and dove grey. We also chose the white sparkle quartz work surface which is so elegant.
We’d been recommended to DIY kitchens by a friend and we were hugely impressed, from our initial visit to your showroom, through the design and ordering process and to delivery and after care. The installation was so simple and the quality of the units is just outstanding. We have received so many compliments about our beautiful kitchen and been told by many friends they have kitchen envy so we make sure we recommend DIY kitchens to them all!!
The kitchen has transformed our home. Previously it was a narrow galley style kitchen so we knocked through the wall between the kitchen and the dining room to create an open space then installed glass doors that open fully to create a stunning dining kitchen, great for entertaining. '
Mrs Harris from Buckinghamshire 'Our builder recommended DIY Kitchens because of the superior build quality saying it was better than most on the market. We were particularly thrilled with the good value of the worktop. '
Lou from Harpenden 'We had been on the lookout for a kitchen for a couple of years and constantly inspired by what we saw ans they were nearly always DIY Kitchens, so when it came to investigating further, they were our first go to company.
From the start, we were very impressed with their website, ease of using and information that could be gleaned to give us a good indication of costs. When we decided to progress further, customer services were very knowledgeable and helpful. We didn’t use the online planning services as we had already got on board a kitchen designer as we were changing plumbing, electrics etc around a lot.
We ordered several samples (refundable upon ordering) and were immediately impressed with the quality (and colour.) Based on all of the above we decided to place the order.
We couldn’t be happier. The quality of the cupboards are fantastic, we love the two colours together. With so many different cupboards available we have exactly the kitchen we had dreamed if, a bespoke kitchen for a fraction of the cost. We are six months in since finishing it and we are thrilled with how it works, looks and stands up to family life. Couldn’t recommend DIY more. '
Dave from Tyne & Wear 'I heard about DIY Kitchens on an online forum. Being quite particular about what we wanted from the kitchen and needing to maximise space, while keeping to a tight budget, the range of units available and the ability to pick exactly what we needed for ourselves worked really well.
A lot of time went into the design, but it was well worth it in the end, and we're really happy with the finished kitchen (though there are still a few little jobs that need finishing!). The quality of the units and fittings is excellent. '
Sasha from Keyingham 'I had seen DIY kitchens on a YouTube video by a guy called Nick Morris who used yourselves for property developing and he states that the quality and price of you’re kitchens is far superior to other companies. I myself have to agree, the price we paid and the quality we received is far superior to what we looked at in other well known companies in the area.
The door quality’s is 22mm thick mdf which is a lot thicker and sturdier then everywhere else we had looked at, and it’s all quality including the units and the hinges. My boyfriend Rees is a joiner and we fitted the kitchen together which was actually very easy! Rees is quiet picky with the quality of the products we used in the house, but he loves the kitchen and it met his very high standards! (Even the hinges).
Even down to visiting the showroom was a dream, all the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and there were plenty of refreshments on hand!
We also purchased a solid oak butchers block worktop from yourselves which we believe takes the kitchen to another level, it makes you feel as though you’re in a posh cottage in the country side! All of our friends and family are jealous of the kitchen and they say the wood worktops even make it smell good! I have since recommended yourselves to anyone that has spoke to me about a kitchen. '
Jude from Manchester 'We were just about to order a replacement for our kitchen when Covid struck and the first lockdown started. We had to rethink our plans, and searching online brought me to the DIY Kitchens website.
I used the online planning tool to choose the best layout for our kitchen - a very narrow galley. We were able to make the most of our space with a mixture of under-counter units, wall units and a huge larder cupboard.
The kitchen fitters hadn't fitted a kitchen from DIY Kitchens before but they were very impressed with the quality of the units and it didn't take them long to transform the room. I've sent a few photos of before and after.
We found there are lots of photos of larger kitchens out there, but not as much to show what can be done in a smaller galley space. I hope this is helpful!'
Sarah from Formby 'We had taken on a huge refurbishment of a small dated 50s bungalow, turning it into a beautiful modern family home. Whilst every aspect of the build was financially tight looking for a kitchen within our ever-decreasing budget was proving difficult, that was until we found DIY kitchens online.
I didn’t go to view the showroom only relied on the excellent reviews from previous customers. From start to finish DIY kitchens were amazing.
Part of our kitchen was a solid oak door, ordered in an unprimed unsanded finish, our joiner was very dubious, saying for the price quoted the doors would not be solid oak, so we sent for a sample. Knowing we had to alter one the doors to fit a difficult space we decided to reduce to size of the sample door to see if it was solid oak and yes it was !!!
The planning & ordering process for the kitchen was made very easy with the help of the online planner, excellent customer service staff with a full knowledge of all products. I would highly recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone who wants to have a quality kitchen, supplied and delivered on time, full customer support and above all to save money compared to any high street kitchen company.
Thank you DIY Kitchens we will be ordering from you again for the walk-in pantry and utility. '
Polly from Bristol 'We have been renovating our beautiful Victoria family home for the last 18 months! We have been documenting our journey on our Instagram page.
We were so pleased with every aspect of working with DIY kitchens from the support the to helping order, to the delivery and beautiful quality of our kitchen. We chose a bespoke colour and it is just perfect. We miss ordered a couple of things and the support team sent them out so quickly, meaning it didn’t delay our install.
I have recommended diy kitchens to literally anyone who will listen. We get so many amazing comments and compliments about our kitchen and it really is perfect. We heard about diy kitchens from a friend that used you guys and got a beautiful kitchen too!
We are so pleased with our kitchen and how it turned out. It will be amazing to see our children grow and play in this space. So happy we found you guys. Thank you 😊. '
Gary from Trowbridge 'Here are a few photos of my kitchen. Great design and quality. I heard about DIY-Kitchens from a friend who had previously bought a kitchen from you.'
Laura from Glasgow 'Very happy with the quality and just love the Dakar colour. Have had lots of compliments. Initially heard of you via Instagram, when I asked a blogger about her kitchen and colour! '
Nick from London 'Here are some photos of my kitchen renovation and utility room. So pleased with how it looks, thank you! '
Pam from Pontefract 'Here are some photos of our beautiful kitchen for your use. Before & after.'
Gary from Widnes 'You were recommended by a friend whose kitchen we were really impressed with.
We have guests often and they are always impressed with the kitchen. So pleased with quality, it's as good as other recognised brands of kitchens but a lot less money! Many thanks!'
Frankie from Surrey 'Thank you! We are delighted with our new kitchen. It is a Linwood Shaker style with a combination of Cobham Blue and Tern White units. It looks fantastic with bar handles in stainless steel effect. We especially love the curved units in the corner, the deep drawers for easy storage of pans and plates and the island.
We heard about DIY kitchens from a friend and after visiting to see their new kitchen, we were happy to go ahead with our order. Our own new kitchen has been admired by several friends, some of whom have subsequently decided to buy their new kitchen from you too!
Well done for providing a great product and a great after-sales service.'
Rachel from Shropshire 'Great quality, love the colour selection. Family had their kitchen from DIY kitchens so was recommended.'
Emma from Durham 'Loved the concept of designing my own kitchen without any sales pressures and cutting out the middle person. I loved that I could add as many or as little extras to my kitchen. Choices were amazing! Easy to work out the cost too. Contacting for advice was easy via mail too and additional orders after were accepted and arrived quickly. Very impressed.
Was easy to plan, I used the scaled squares and printed this and the unit patterns out. Arranged until I was satisfied with the line up of units and then made my purchase.
I heard about DIY kitchens when looking in forums discussing quality of kitchens from Wrens/ Magnet/ Howdons. Many people kept mentioning DIY kitchens, so I googled your site and the rest is history!
Great quality units with strong backs, ready made, painted flawlessly, beautiful oak worktops. I’m utterly delighted with the high quality and finish. Everyone who has visited and admired my kitchen and asked where we purchased. Your site has been shared to a lot of family and friends! '
Sophie from Newcastle Upon Tyne 'Overall the kitchen is amazing! The quality of everything is great. It was so easy to fit ourselves which is a bonus and also came in good time. The in cupboard storage is fab to as we’re utilising the empty spaces which had before. We knocked through the wall, down into the back room, to extend the kitchen. We also changed the french doors to 3 meter bifolds, which allow so much natural light in!'
Colin from Retford 'I'm very pleased that I chose Diy Kitchens to supply My new kitchen. I was impressed with the free design tool and support team who assisted with the design prior to order.
Ordering online was a simple process. Although we had a slight delay with delivery. I was kept updated by the customer support team.
I was further impressed when the kitchen was delivered. The quality of the doors and cabinets were second to non. Far superior the the previous kitchens I have had supplied by other manufacturers. Fitting was made made easier due to the cabinets being pre-assembled. I would definitely recommend Diy Kitchens.'
Elizabeth from South Lanarkshire 'Our kitchen was installed in August 2021 and we love it. We heard about diy kitchens via family and were initially worried about ordering online without seeing the kitchen itself. After seeing a sample door the quality seemed good and we went ahead. The customer service was great, helping to make sure we ordered all the components we needed, but also making sure we didn't over order items we didn't need.
Compared to other kitchens the price was excellent and we couldn't match the oak doors anywhere else close to the price. Delivery was easy and returns of any flawed product was also straightforward. Thanks diy kitchens, we're really happy with the end result.'
Jane from Wirral 'We love the quality of our Norton white kitchen. The doors are really solid and all the drawer mechanisms and soft closers make it look and feel like a much more expensive kitchen! Also had great customer service when needing to change parts of my order and delivery was very professional.'
Mike & Donna from Gloucester 'It took us a long time deciding on the style of our new kitchen and we had looked at other companies but kept coming back to DIY Kitchens. We had some sample door fronts sent us and we were impressed with the quality and price.
The website was very easy to use and the planning tool to design the layout of the kitchen and be able to visualise before buying was really helpful. It was very simple to order and we always had a prompt and helpful response to any questions we had.
We fitted the kitchen ourself and with the units coming fully assembled it made the job so much easier. Your team did a wonderful job fitting the worktops for us.
We love the new look of the kitchen, it was exactly what we had wanted. We also bought some of the little extras for the interior of the cupboards and upgraded the worktop as the price was well within our budget. Something we had not be able to do with the other companies. Thoroughly recommend to others. Thank you so much. '
Rachel & Martin from Pontefract 'We heard about DIY kitchens from a friend we had visited after her kitchen installation. She told us that the price and quality would not be beaten and she was highly delighted with her kitchen. We could see it was great quality so we decided to use DIY kitchens for our up coming renovation.
We visited the showroom which luckily for us was under 5 miles away. However, when we got there we were amazed to find there were people who had travelled hours from all areas of the uk, including Liverpool, Wales and Hampshire! Apparently DIY kitchens' reputation had travelled far and wide. The showroom was beautiful.
We wanted a traditional kitchen with a modern twist. After a bit of advice from the local team on site we ordered the Stanbury Heron Grey. The order process was a bit lengthy but very precise and luckily we had our fitter help us out with the sizes etc.
All the units arrived on time, with really robust packaging and a quality delivery team. We unpacked them all and found they were all top quality and in perfect condition. The reviews had proven to be correct. The best in the UK.
We absolutely love our new kitchen and would recommend DIY kitchens to anyone. '
Rebecca & Shaun from Derby 'We are delighted with our gorgeous diy kitchen. The units came fully built and are solid and great quality. We are very pleased with the overall finish it is what we expected and more after visiting your fantastic show room. '
Lynda & Derek from Kent 'After researching all the big named kitchen companies we came across diy kitchens as highly recommended by various sources, so decided to take a look. The transparency of pricing was something we really appreciated, along with the ability to play around with your planning tool to design a kitchen that perfectly suited our requirements and budget. The choice of unit sizes and types is vast and so helpful when planning. After using your excellent sample service we opted for the solid wood Linwood range in cashmere.
We are over the moon with the finished kitchen. The planning stage took a while but it was well worth it as we now have a fantastic kitchen that not only looks high end, but one that works perfectly for us.
Our kitchen work was carried out in October 2021, knocking through a supporting wall to make a kitchen diner to replace our 30 year old galley kitchen and lounge diner. This was our kitchen fitters first experience of a diy kitchen kitchen. He was extremely impressed with the quality of the units and just how much we got for our money, which included lots of pull out units, drawers and a Le Mans corner unit.
We found your website very user friendly with lots of great advice and guidance. Any queries which we had that weren’t answered on the website were dealt with promptly and efficiently under your support ticket system. We felt confident and fully informed by the time we placed the order, safe in the knowledge that someone at diy kitchens would check it over and raise any obvious mistakes with us.
Our delivery was made late on the Sunday evening, at the end of the week scheduled, and the drivers were very thorough and efficient. We opted to check everything the following day. There was some minor damage to a couple of the doors but, using the ticket system to raise this issues was very straightforward and items were exchanged in a matter of days without question.
It was wonderful to see our careful planning pay off when everything fitted perfectly and we have ended up with the dream kitchen that we had envisaged. Everyone who sees it has been extremely impressed with the quality and the look. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend diy kitchens to anyone and in fact we have already done so. '
John from Stafford 'We are highly delighted with this kitchen as it looks fantastic and the quality of everything is exceptional. We were recommended to try yourselves by a friend and are glad we did.'
Jade From Northampton 'We love our new kitchen! The quality of the cabinetry and hardware surpassed all our expectations and we have been able to create our desired look on a fraction of the budget. We recommend DIY Kitchens to everyone!'
Sharon from Derbyshire 'I am absolutely thrilled with my kitchen, I can honestly say it's the best kitchens I have ever had fitted, this is the eighth kitchen I've had over the years.
The quality is top notch, and the worktops are great, unbelievable for the price. DIY kitchens was recommended to me by the fitter I used he couldn't praise them highly enough. As it's his job you can imagine how many kitchens he's fitted. '
Ken from Herefordshire 'We chose DIY Kitchens after getting several quotes from national kitchen suppliers & also some local ones that supplied & fitted German units, we then received samples of your doors & this confirmed our choice as they were better quality at a lower price.
One other factor was your large selection of the unit sizes plus the interior colours matched the doors etc, something none of the national suppliers did. Once we got the hang of the planner we were able to get a kitchen that suited us & not just one easy to design as we needed to house our existing washing machine & tumble dryer, we found that the decorative side panels & individual doors were perfect for this. We did have a few issues with some damaged units but this was easily sorted & the replacement units delivered quickly.
All in all very happy with the finished result, especially as I was able to fit it myself making a considerable saving on some of the other quotes. '
David from Berkhamsted 'The build quality of the units, doors and all fitting accessories is first class. The service and advice we received from DIYKitchens before finally ordering was excellent and they have been efficient and helpful all follow-up communication.'
Lucy from Suffolk '
My overall impression of our DIY kitchen is that I’m thrilled to bits; the quality is superb, the bespoke paint colour is a perfect match. Our fitter said it was one of the best quality kitchens he’s ever installed, and lots of our trades people commented on what good quality it was during the course of the whole renovation.
I also purchased my quartz worktop via yourselves because it worked out the best value for money of any quote I had, and made the difference between being able to afford quartz, or having to use laminate. I was really impressed from start to finish with the whole experience of buying from DIY Kitchens; we never visited the showroom but felt comfortable ordering having ordered various sample doors and reading many positive reviews of the quality of the cabinets.
The only hair-raising experience was the kitchen being delivered in the last slot of the week; meaning it arrived on Sunday teatime - with the fitter due at 8am the following day! But the customer service team were good at reassuring us it was on the van, and would arrive in time - and the delivery guys were meticulous at ensuring everything was present and correct in time for the fitting to start. Without DIY Kitchens I would have had to compromise on lots of aspects of the kitchen, and wouldn’t now have the kitchen of my dreams, so thank you DIY!'
Julie from Lancashire 'I saw and advert on the motorway and looked on your website, reviews were good, visited the showroom and ordered. I had a joiner visit to hang doors and he said what a fantastic quality kitchen it was. I absolutely love it, easy to order and no issues. I recommend DIY Kitchens! '
Jo from Pontefract 'I was very pleased with the kitchen I received from DIY Kitchens and I have recommended them to many of my work colleagues.'
Anna from Leeds 'We bought a kitchen from DIY last year (2021) and we LOVE it (and so does everyone else that sees it!) it’s transformed our home and we love spending time in there now.
We love the quality of the kitchen, it feels very sturdy and the colour is exactly what we wanted. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more.
We heard about DIY as my sister and partner had a DIY kitchen fitted and after seeing their’s, it made us want a new kitchen even more, and we couldn’t resist! '
Brian of Castleford 'I was so impressed by this very high quality product, comprising clean lines and a super finish. The ordering process was just so simple and made things very easy. I was extremely impressed just how easy it was to install the units and the thought put into the design elements of the product. Above all the technical support and backup customer service re any changes etc was just absolutely outstanding. Well done and thank you DIY !! '
Jo & Ryan from Warwick 'We are overall very happy with our new DIY Kitchen. The kitchen units are really good quality, they do not feel at all flimsy, and everything appears to be a really good build quality. Everything arrived as ordered. A mistake that we made with the order was resolved quickly and helpfully by the DIY team. We are really happy with the DIY Kitchens units and would recommend them to anyone.
We heard about DIY Kitchens through a recommendation from a work colleague. I spent a lot of time in the 3d planner, which we found really useful. '
Helen from Saffron Walden 'I was very pleased with the kitchen when it arrived - I used my joiners that fitted a Howden’s kitchen in a previous house for us and they were also impressed with the quality and pleased that the doors and drawers were already fitted as it shortened their labour time. They thought the quality was on par with the Howden’s better quality range. They added some bespoke oak features to the kitchen for me as well which I think warms up the back and white feel of the kitchen.
After some delays with the delivery date due to covid, When it did arrive, the delivery guys who bought the kitchen were extremely organised and were very careful of my new door frame! They ticked off every part as it came in and one missing kickboard was sent shortly afterwards. I had missed off one cupboard from my order - when I rang up, they kindly put it on a fast track order and it was here before the joiners arrived to fit the kitchen.
The quartz was also ordered through DIY kitchens and the company were very efficient in ringing me to organise times etc to come. As were the templater and fitters. Overall I am happy to recommend DIY kitchens to anyone who asks me where I got it from! '
Joanne from Manchester 'Our completed diy kitchen, our kitchen fitter could not get over the quality. Thank you so much we love it!'
Emily & Stuart from Norfolk 'So pleased with our DIY Kitchens kitchen! We opted for solid wood for durability. So far it’s certainly impressed. Especially with 2 small children and their toys!
Extremely pleased with the colour. I wanted an off white but not cream, this colour is perfect. I was beginning to lose hope as I couldn’t find what I wanted without paying for a bespoke colour, then I stumbled upon Diy Kitchens through Instagram. It was ideal being able to order samples to my home as we live over 3 hours away plus it was during a lockdown. We settled on mussel which is a Diy Kitchens standard colour. I’m very indecisive, it took me a while to commit to a colour, but this is spot on and I love it!
Value for money, its brilliant. We had quotes from competitors for the same specification kitchen and they were coming in a few thousand pounds more.
The delivery was very efficient, stress free, and friendly. As was any contact with customer service, they were really helpful in making sure we’d considered everything we needed.
I’m a very happy customer and would recommend, and do recommend, Diy Kitchens to anyone thinking of a new kitchen.'
Mat & Tom from Surrey 'Here are some pictures of our recently completed ground floor extension and renovation. We absolutely love our cabinets. Great value for money, and one of the few places you can find customisable wood front cabinets and doors with so many different cabinet sizes and configurations. Really happy with the finish of the doors, everything looks and feels hi-quality.'
Matt & Jenna from Oxfordshire 'Absolutely over the moon with the quality and look of the kitchen and all for a very reasonable price. Would 100% recommend DIY Kitchens.'
Kara from Hertfordshire 'We are so please with the quality of the kitchen. We love everything about it. We love the space saving cupboards such as the pull our corner unit, the pull out bin and also the pantry with the pull out drawers.
We found the process of designing and ordering the kitchen using the online planner very straight forward, your team were on hand to help with any questions. The after service care was also brilliant. We have since ordered our utility room with you too - although we haven’t fitted it yet. Three friends have also ordered with you since seeing our kitchen! '
Pam from Norwich 'We were very impressed with our kitchen and so were the kitchen fitters who fitted it. They said it was very good quality and very good to work with. Everyone who has seen it has said how lovely it looks and how well made it is with a lively finish. We were very pleased indeed with the finished result. We had excellent guidance and help with the planning. The worktops are amazing, very well fitted and finished and look fantastic.
We heard about DIY kitchens from a friend who had bought their kitchen from you and they were very pleased with the quality.
We would recommend your kitchens to anyone looking to build one. We have eventually built our dream kitchen with your help and are very pleased with the end result- it’s fantastic and I LOVE bring in it.'
Laura from Maidstone 'Here are some pictures of my amazing DIY Kitchen, which I am very proud of. I had googled kitchen comparisons and DIY Kitchens came up with excellent reviews.
I designed the kitchen during lockdown. All the regular kitchen suppliers were closed, so I couldn’t see any kitchens.
DIY Kitchens was the perfect solution. I booked a video call with the warehouse in Pontefract and had an online tour of things I wanted to see and could ask any questions.
Having reviewed the website I ordered a selection of door styles and colours, handles and quartz and wooden samples.
I used the CAD system to design the kitchen myself. This was a bit scary as the dimensions had to be perfect but I used the ‘how to do videos’ which helped a lot. I had looked at lots of pictures of kitchens on websites so knew what I wanted and set out to copy!
This was one of the best bits of using DIY Kitchens, I could design it myself, in my own time and could change it as many times as I wanted. My kitchen has been designed perfectly for me. I knew where I wanted the spice rack, the recycled bin, I put in an extra under counter freezer because I always run out of freezer space. I chose pull put drawers and pan drawers. I chose a double sink as I was always so irritated by my 1.5 sink in my last kitchen. I copied the dresser effect of beautiful Neptune Kitchen. I had imagined myself living in the kitchen, preparing meals, washing dishes etc so everything about it is practical.
The CAD stopped me making mistakes by sending error messages! When I had come up with my draft design I sent it off to DIY Kitchens to be checked (several times as I was very nervous!). The staff were so helpful and patient, it gave me confidence that my design would work before I placed an order.
I chose Norton Muscle. The colour was just perfect. I didn’t want white or grey, Muscle is a pale green grey and feels very ‘farrow and ball’!
The after sales service was excellent. During the installation we discovered a stop cock in the utility room so had to delay the template for the quartz. This was not a problem, DIY Kitchens were so helpful.
6 months on and my kitchen is still looking brand new, the feel and quality is great and it looks very expensive yet was a fraction of the price of a high end kitchen. We are about to do another kitchen renovation and I am sticking with DIY Kitchens - no need to look anywhere else !'
John & Jenny from Liverpool 'Here are some pictures of a kitchen that we had installed last Autumn. It took a long time to plan (it was to go into a newly built kitchen diner extension) and we’re really pleased with how the project turned out and the overall quality of the units.'
Lindsey from Hampshire 'The kitchen is the Stanbury in dove grey, we were very pleased with the quality of the units, the delivery is great! The fact they are built already makes the installation much easier.
The vast range of different cupboards and drawers sizes enabled us to get exactly what we wanted within our kitchen layout and we took advantage of the versatility of the range by using different cupboards for different functions, we have created 2 x 1000mm larder cupboards from using tall floor cupboard units on top of 1000mm pan drawer units they are amazing hide everything off the worktops! Exactly what we wanted.'
Suzanne from Surrey 'Pleased with the quality and it appears to be hard wearing. Video tours very useful during Covid. Customer service very prompt and efficient to respond to order queries and missing parts.'
Mr & Mrs Lee from Walsall 'Upon doing some research on the web and viewing YouTube videos I found the name ‘DIY Kitchens’ as builders were commenting on the quality of their units and easy fitment.
After visiting the market leaders and shocked at their prices, we decided to take a look at DIY Kitchens. Upon viewing their website I liked the look of their Linwood range, mainly due to the door construction was made of wood - our previous kitchen was foil wrapped MDF and the foil was peeling away on the edges of the doors.
Once we decided on the Linwood, I used DIY Kitchens cad designer tool to layout the design of our kitchen. The cad tool is really user-friendly and by measuring the overall room dimensions, it was easy to select the cabinets and place them in their required positions to ensure correct fitment.
Once we decided on the design, we arranged to visit their showroom to view their cabinets colours & quality of construction. I must say after visiting other well-known kitchen suppliers the quality was superior in construction & aesthetics. After walking around the showroom with no sales pressure we were instantly impressed & decided to go for the Linwood in Cornflower Blue with Natural Lancaster Oak carcase.
The next day I placed my order and awaited the delivery which promptly arrived on the given date. The units were carefully unloaded and checked. Upon inspection some of the doors were slightly marked, however on reporting this DIY Kitchens support team arranged replacements so all good to go.
Upon being let down by our kitchen fitter I decided to fit the kitchen myself. Upon going out and purchasing some necessary tools such as a laser lever and fine circular saw blades, I started work. Being fully constructed cabinets, the units fit like a dream. It was just a matter of making sure they were square and level; the laser lever made this very easy and was well worth the expense.
The project in all took a few weeks to complete. The only issue I had was cutting down wall stowaway unit so that it fit behind the main kitchen door, as the clearance was only 150mm. I needed to made a good job of this as this was going to be my wife’s gin cabinet!
Having lived with the kitchen for over 10 months we are delighted with the outcome, all our friends have commented on what a beautiful kitchen we have and want to know who supplied and fitted it, especially after telling them the cost, having solid wooden painted doors with soft closed hinges and drawer runners together with a solid oak worktops. Other kitchen suppliers quoted us over £15,000 for the same design but with lesser quality.
Take my word, if you are thinking of buying a new kitchen take your time and do your research, and then visit the DIY kitchen showroom, you’d be totally surprised how much you can save compared with the other market leaders, also you will have a far superior and constructed kitchen, which will last. '
Samantha from North Yorkshire 'Here are some pictures from when we brought the property through to the final photo today.
We absolutely love the kitchen, the quality is amazing even our joiner was a little concerned at first as he had never heard of you guys but when he came and saw the units he couldn't believe the quality either. We got the Norton range with Oak worktops and absolutely love it!
We heard about DIY kitchens from some friends who have also used yourselves before and again, the comments where the same fantastic quality and so handy they come fully built! '
Nina From London 'We absolutely love our new kitchen! It has completely transformed our home. It was easy to plan the kitchen of our dreams as there was so much choice and the pre-sales phone and email advice/ support was excellent. We were unable to visit the showroom due to lockdown restrictions but we managed fine just with the website and phone advice.
My husband is a carpenter and ordered from DIY as he had heard of your excellent reputation. The kitchen was easy to fit and was superb value for money. We have had so many lovely comments from family and friends who cannot believe how much it cost us.
The great thing about the Clayton range is that it is paintable. My husband designed our island around a few of the units in the Heron Grey colour to contrast with the Tern white of the rest of the units. In future if we fancied a change, we can easily repaint in a different colour. We already know the quality of the DIY Kitchens primer and paint is excellent as my husband used this to finish off the bespoke island and hob mantle he made.
Overall we are extremely happy with our kitchen and would recommend DIY kitchens to anyone who is looking for a good quality kitchen that looks a lot more expensive than it actually is! The customer service is excellent too- we had a few damage units in transit, which were replaced quickly. This I think sets DIY Kitchens above its rivals!'
Steph from North Wales 'The space was exceptionally hard to plan for, it was tiny, had a step, was in the eaves and the stairs came up in the middle of it! But, we had to utilise every mm because it was due to serve 12 people as the retreat's kitchen.
The other major problem was it was derelict when I was designing it so had to guess a lot! I had many meetings with other kitchen providers and DIY won hands down in every aspect. I used the kitchen builder and as things changed and unfolded they helped me adapt the design, they were so, so patient with every request or problem I came with. They were honestly incredible, I would have sent them a thank you card if I wasn't up to my eyes in the build!
The options for units surpassed the others and the quality really is incredible, everyone comments on them. Even the delivery chaps were the most helpful delivery people I've ever met!! I couldn't fault DIY kitchens and when we can do our own we will be using them again. And I tell everyone to use them.
'
Sophie from Leeds 'Kitchen was great value and is of superior quality. I was pleased with the delivery times and the ease of putting the kitchen together. The showroom was ideal as had everything easily available to view. I have recommended DIY kitchens to several friends since. My life has changed since renovating my kitchen and is now a lovely, calm family space. '
Rebecca from Whittlesey 'Here are some pictures of our new kitchen and also some before the transformation. We have had a wall knocked down and it made into an open plan kitchen/diner which we love.
We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen! It was a very easy process from ordering to having it delivered. The cupboards are of very good quality, arrived fully assembled and all labelled accordingly which helped speed up the installation of it with only needing to attach the legs and door handles.
We have had many comments on our kitchen saying how stunning it looks and we couldn't agree more! We love the colour of the doors against the white tiles and worktops. My husband had used DIY kitchens previously for a small kitchen in another property so we knew we had to use them again when we wanted to replace the kitchen in our house as the kitchens are very well priced for the quality and service you get.'
Katie from Barnsley 'Absolutely love our kitchen! Our kitchen fitters also said it was a pleasure to fit too! Moving into a new home and being able to have our bespoke kitchen at an affordable price was excellent! We found yourselves online and family have also used yourselves. '
Marianne & Steve from Surrey 'Here are some pictures of our new kitchen, which was installed in September into our new build bungalow last year (which used to be my parent’s back garden of 50 years!). We heard about DIY Kitchens a few years ago and used them when we renovated our home in Haslemere in 2014.
We absolutely love our kitchen from DIY Kitchens - the base units are Norton in Cobham Blue, and the corner units are bespoke. The worktop is in Ariel quartz.
For a complete novice, I found the process quite easy and enjoyable (the virtual 3D planner was a revelation). The quality of the kitchen is fantastic - all solid wood; our builder was very impressed and asked for the details to give to his other clients. For a fraction of the price, we have ended up with a beautiful, bespoke kitchen that looks like it came with a much higher price tag!'
Hannah from Bridlington 'Here are some photos of our finished kitchen. Norton Shaker units in Cobham Blue with oak worktops. I could not be happier with it, beautiful quality and always complemented on the colour. '
Linda from Knaresborough 'I had heard about DIY Kitchens from Which? The main reason I wanted to go with yourselves for our kitchen, in addition to the quality, was because of the bespoke colour service you offer. I knew I wanted dark greens (it is a north facing room so wanted to embrace that and make sure it felt warm and cosy). I love my kitchen and it gets compliments from whoever sees it and i'm so pleased with how it turned out. I feel I got a much more expensive looking kitchen for the price.
There are also a few pictures of the room to show what it looked like before. It was a very dark rear lounge room. The room is now brighter due to opening up the area beyond the kitchen you can see, taking down a wall and putting in larger windows and a roof lantern. This area (not shown on my photos since not the kitchen) is now the living and dining area.'
David & Helen from Cheshire 'We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen. We heard about diy-kitchens from friends who have had one for several years and have been really pleased.
The quality of build and finish is fantastic, with a huge range of unit types at a great price. Our builder was also really impressed with the quality and value for money compared to those he normally uses.
Although we placed the order during COVID-19 lockdown, so couldn’t visit the showroom, we were confident to buy and had no problems. We designed the layout ourselves and had some great support and advice from the sales team.'
Allan & Pauline from Attleborough 'Two work friends recommend using DIY Kitchens after purchasing kitchens from your company, as they we both pattern makers, I thought their recommendations worth while, I wasn't disappointed.
Well made products, well packed, good delivery. We liked having an option of the carcass colour also having solid wood doors on the units. Door hinges are easy to remove when required to unlatch doors. Good thick carcass case 19mm.'
Karen & Paul from North Wales 'Here are some pictures of our kitchen, that my husband put in himself! So proud of it, really excellent value cabinets and worktops. Site was easy to navigate to plan our kitchen, we picked everything on line.
We moved into our home in March last year, our kitchen was the first project to tackle, with a fairly tight budget, we shopped around on line for kitchens, as at the time the world was in Covid! We looked at reviews on Trustpilot, plus the quality and price offers, DIY kitchens met our needs and budget, surpassing our expectations when the kitchen was finished.
Although this is a DIY kitchen, the cabinets arrive assembled, so no messy flatpacks to deal with, really impressive solid doors were our choice, soft close hinges, integrated appliance doors, pelmets and kick boards, contemporary, but in keeping with our old cottage. We did not want ultra high shine modern, more modern country, this range fits the bill and looks far more expensive than it was.
We chose the Norton Dakar range in a beautiful grey green colour. It was easy to accessorise with reclaimed scaffold board shelving and retro appliances.
Once completed, the company DIY kitchens organised templating our kitchen for solid granite worktops, a short while later, fitted worktops. Again all chosen online from a really good variety of kitchen work surfaces.
Overall, we would recommend DIY kitchens for the best quality, customer service and price, we had no issues at all.'
Sharon from Sheffield 'We completed our DIY kitchen last year in Heron Grey/Malton Range. As you can see the kitchen was in an old cottage, on the small size and difficult because it had 2 doors and a recess with over lintal where an old range used to be.
What I loved about DIY kitchen was the range of different unit sizes and shapes which allowed us the make the best use of the limited space. It is also great that the units are the same colour as doors, so no end panels needed. I found my kitchen to be really good quality, no plywood backs and great that it arrives assembled.
We moved house shortly after and I'm sure it was a selling point. I loved it so much I'm going to repeat in my new home!'
Sherron & Bob from Solihull 'Although being septuagenarians we designed and fitted the new layout ourselves using Linwood Cobham Blue for the base units and Linwood Tern White for the wall units.
We were very pleased with the quality of all the doors, units and fittings. The worktops in quartz Calacatta, were supplied and fitted separately.
We originally discovered DIY Kitchens on-line whilst looking for kitchen ideas and were impressed by the range of styles and options available.
Everything was delivered on time and any questions we had were always answered and dealt with promptly using the web site email system. Given the Covid lockdown issues at the time, customer service was very good. We have no hesitation in recommending DIY Kitchens.'
Jess & Jonathan from Manchester 'This is our second kitchen from DIY kitchens. We knew before we moved into our new house that we wanted another, as we were so pleased with the last one. The doors are amazing quality, everything comes assembled and the customer service when you need something is brilliant. We LOVE the kitchen planner tool too; don’t know what we’d have done without it!'
Ellin from London 'Very happy with quality of units, especially with quality of hinges (although a bit disconcerted to see that one of the kitchens currently featuring in EastEnders has the same cabinets in the same color with the same knobs!)'
Toby from Cornwall 'DIY kitchens whole process from design to delivery was amazing, being able to design the kitchen using there own software was the best part, even when getting stuck the response time was so quick and helpful.
We ordered samples before making any final decisions and I’m glad we did as some of the colours do look slightly different in person and with different lighting.
The quality of the units are great, very solidly built, coming already built made fitting them fairly straightforward.
We have had our kitchen in place for 7 months now and it’s still looking great with no issues, very happy customer. '
Lindsey from Worcester 'We love the style, quality and finish of the fantastic new kitchen and utility room spaces we have created by using DIY Kitchens for all our units, doors, splashbacks, worktops and the fabulous sink! It was great to be able to visit the factory to see the components being made and knowing they are produced in the UK, to very high standards, was one of the important reasons for our choice of DIY Kitchens.
There is such a fantastic choice from the wonderful showroom and we were made really welcome during our visits, with staff happy to advise and answer questions but never with any feeling of being rushed or pressured in any way and the onsite refreshments were a wonderful bonus!
Also the online/telephone services were brilliant and enabled us to quickly and easily to place any additional orders, seek advice or check information. Ordering and delivery were easy and everything was delivered very professionally, exactly to the schedule and in great condition. Best quality and value for money of any kitchen we found on the market.'
Bob from Cornwall 'We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen supplied by yourselves. Our kitchen fitters commented on the outstanding quality and said that in future they would be ordering their kitchens from DIY. Everything was delivered on time, exactly as ordered and beautifully packed. The price was outstanding value for money. Once again many thanks for your great service.'
Mary from Hertforshire 'We ordered and received our kitchen back in June last year and we love our kitchen! It’s perfect for our small terraced house. I’ve sent some before and after pictures.
The quality of the units is better than any of the high st brands our fitter initially recommended and we’ve suggested to all our friends renovating that they should do the same thing. The oak worktop is great, we had some left over so made a chopping board and also a couple of desks by adding cheap legs from Amazon!'
Kevin from London 'I found the kitchen really well designed and so pleased I went for factory assembled units. I do all my own DIY building work and would say anyone with basic skills should have no issues carrying out their own fitting.
I had the worktops professionally fitted, and the fitter said that the quality of the doors was some of the best he had seen. He could also not believe the price, especially the larder unit which would normally alone be much more from any of the other big suppliers. I could also not fault the customer service experience, with polite and speedy replies. Overall a first class company and would not hesitate in using again.
I'm pleased I made the visit from London to the showroom, as it allowed me to really see the details and finalise my choice. At the time you could not supply the appliances.'
Adrian from Norfolk 'We were surprised at the great quality but so we’re our kitchen fitters! This was confirmation that we had made the right choice! The value was amazing, saving around 40% on a lesser kitchen from Howdens!
Everyone loves our new kitchen, we never even considered you until a friend of a friend mentioned how great you were. I was very worried about getting the order right but I uploaded the Howdens plan and a day later you came back with everything I needed. Still being sceptical, I drove the 4 hours to your showroom and after seeing your product firsthand, I was convinced enough to place the order, which saving me thousands of pounds and gave us the kitchen we wanted! What’s not to like.'
Toni from Liverpool 'Love the whole kitchen and the colours amazing, the pull out larder is my favourite part of the kitchen as it stores so many things! The quality is lovely and the Matt finish is perfect.
I heard of DIY kitchens from seeing it on Instagram and chose it as it was a cheaper option compared to other big kitchen brands.
'
Manfred from Carmarthenshire 'Finally managed to get around to taking pictures of my new kitchen, which I purchased in the Summer of 2020 from yourselves. I still have minor details to finish but I am very pleased with it, so thought you may want to show it on your site along with the other customer kitchens?
I chose Malton with Carbon base units and Cashmere wall units, as well as a utility corner of Cashmere base units with an Oak worktop and a white sparkle worktop on the carbon units.'
Rob & Gill from Manchester 'We decided to change our kitchen during lockdown and spent hours online browsing traditional kitchen suppliers. We could not speak to a kitchen designer, visit showrooms or estimate costs and we thought it was not going to be possible. That changed when we discovered DIY Kitchens online.
The online planner was so easy to use and calculated all the “extras” and spacing required. We printed out the various views in 3D and were able to stand in our kitchen and discuss it. We altered the plan until we had a final version. The planner calculated the approximate costs and we experimented with different styles until we found the style we liked within our budget. Because we could buy individual components, we adapted existing cupboards by replacing/adding doors which saved on the cost of a complete cabinet.
We ordered several door samples, and we booked an online video tour of the showroom with a helpful assistant answering our questions. After ordering, which was easy thanks to the online planner, the kitchen was manufactured and delivered on time and well packaged.
The delivery team was careful and very helpful. Due to lockdown, we planned to install it ourselves but were a little daunted when seeing the enormity of the task ahead. However, the rigid, ready assembled units were easy to install, and there were plenty of helpful articles online from DIY Kitchens. The after sales service was also excellent considering the lockdown restrictions.
We are really delighted with the results and are truly amazed that we were able to source, plan, cost, buy and install such a high-quality kitchen without visiting a showroom, using a kitchen designer, or paying for installation. Buying online from DIY Kitchens meant we were able to do more within our budget. Although we know the kitchen is the same size, it now feels spacious, lighter, easier to use and the worktop space feels enormous.
We highly recommend DIY Kitchens for your next kitchen, and suggest you try out their kitchen planner. As we found out, nobody knows how you use your kitchen better than you!'
Ross from Wales 'Here are some before and after pictures of my Clayton Shaker Cobham Blue / Dove Grey with white quartz worktops. Walls are painted in Dulux Egyptian cotton and the tiles are concrete effect 600x600. This was delivered and fitted in May 2021. Very pleased with the finish of the kitchen and quality.'
Mr & Mrs Kelly from Yorkshire 'Here are some pics of our DIY kitchen install, finished Nov last year. Very happy with quality of units. Sage green tall fridge unit opposite oven, microwave tower, integrated washer & under counter freezer.'
Bev from Essex 'The process of planning/ordering a kitchen from DIY kitchens was so easy from start to finish. If we were unsure about something we just emailed or phoned and our questions/advice was very quick.
We absolutely love our kitchen and friends/family do too. It definitely has the wow factor and Everybody who walks through the door is taken aback. The quality is superb. We had one small paint spray fault but the part was sent with no hassle at all. I have already recommended DIY Kitchens to lots of friends who in turn have thought the same once they had received their order. Fab company, amazing products and great service. Thank you.'
Graham from Leicestershire 'Very pleased with service, delivery and product quality. A couple of additional requirements were dealt with efficiently. Would recommend DIY Kitchens.'
Jennie from Romford 'Partner installed these with a friend and they found them straight forward to work with. The quality and look are great and modern.
DIY Kitchens was recommended to us by a friend, who’s builder said they were the best units they had ever seen and worked with.
We used wall units as base units for the return in our extension and this works really well whilst saving space but giving the additional storage. We also went for higher wall units in the kitchen for additional storage too.
Extras from DIY Kitchens were lighting, handles and sink. '
Oksana from West Midlands 'The overall impressions and quality are excellent, one year on still looks like new. My husband installed the kitchen himself, he is not a professional installer, but a confident DIYer. Communication with the company was great, delivery on time despite lockdowns. Would use again and highly recommend to anyone.'
Chris from Burgess Hill 'We had a huge amount of fun designing our Kitchen using the online tool and also the support of DIY Kitchens when we needed it, even during lockdowns, etc.
Because we couldn’t travel to the showroom at the time, we had a virtual walk around with a lovely assistant (Sorry, we have forgotten her name) and were able to ask the same stupid questions as we would have done in person, and also see some great ideas in terms of integration with other kitchen essentials/equipment.
The fact that most companies send their units flat-packed I’m afraid would have driven me over the edge. These units came fully assembled (even with the doors and soft closers installed) and any adjustment needed was due more to the fact that a 170 year-old house will never have a straight horizontal or vertical face or 90 degree angle.
This was an opportunity to have a kitchen and Utility Room which looks good and works perfectly in terms of ergonomics and the extra vigorous testing given by a riotous six year-old daughter and a young crazy female pup (who loves her bed in the Utility Room).
Although I am a Marine Engineer, I had zero previous experience with the installation of kitchens but, I found the whole process a really valuable experience which turned out really well (even my wife agrees!!). From initial planning, through ordering, a couple of last-minute changes, delivery and final installation it was really smooth.
Yes, I could have found someone to install the kitchen and saved some time but, being in lockdown, time wasn’t really a factor, I even managed to keep a workable sink going whilst the floor was re-tiled. We also saved thousands of pounds on the installation and the initial cost of the Kitchen. Always remember; Google, YouTube, DIY forums and the internet in general are your friends and are the single-most important places for information on ‘how to do’ stuff.
We can’t thank the guys at DIY enough for what was and is a fantastic change to our way of living. We had a whole raft of recommendations for DIY Kitchens from both trusted friends and family. We did go to other well-known suppliers and found that, even those who claimed to be the cheapest kitchens, really never understood what we wanted when they sat down to do some designs with us, their prices were markedly higher too and we were nervous of paying a high cost for something which wasn’t quite right. Now we have perfection (in our opinion) at a very reasonable price.'
Jill & Michael from Edinburgh 'We absolutely love our new kitchen. Ordering from DIY Kitchens has been one of the easiest experiences during a full house renovation. The online design tool meant we could choose exactly what we wanted for the space, the units and worktops are great quality and the customer service couldn’t have been better. '
Cassie from Kent 'Very impressed with the quality of the kitchen, really well made and solid construction. Good service, couldn’t fault the whole experience.'
Rob & Hannah from Hertfordshire 'Here are some pictures showing the transformation of our kitchen. It’s taken a while but we did it all ourselves (with the exception of the gas) with our lockdown baby in tow.
We’re really pleased with the quality of the cabinets and loved the fact that we could choose our own colours. The variety of units and online planner ensured that we made the most of the space. '
Liz from Coventry 'The kitchen has been finished for over 6 months now and we absolutely love it. Especially love the corner larder unit which is so spacious and handy. Quality of doors is fantastic and I love the bespoke colour that I chose. I heared of DIY Kitchens through Instagram and by watching other people’s renovations.'
Charlotte from Northampton 'Amazing service from DIY kitchens. There were no discrepancies on the delivery. Everything was in perfect condition and we were kept informed at every step of the way. I had to add on a couple of things which was no problem at all and customer services were happy to help. (Thanks Bridie).
My mum had kitted out her office with DIY units and recommended them to me. They were head and shoulders above the other companies we looked at. Our kitchen fitter said it was the easiest kitchen he’d ever done and would now recommend them to his customers. Would 100% use and recommend DIY again.'
Gregg & Kerry from Carlisle 'The doors and units we received from DIY Kitchens are of the highest quality. The overall impression is extremely sophisticated. We love the silky feel of the doors, the smooth action of the soft close mechanism and the variety of units that allowed us to create a kitchen that functions exactly as we wanted.'
Chris & Vicky from Surrey 'When we began our kitchen extension project we were in one of the UK lockdowns and kitchen showrooms were mostly closed. This led us to begin looking online. We were really impressed with DIY Kitchens range, service offered, the online design planner and of course the price! As first time kitchen planners we had a number of questions. The customer service team were really helpful and gave us lots of guidance.
We had imagined that we would go for a mid grey kitchen, but at the very last minute decided on the Cobham Blue for the wall units and the Dove Grey for the island. We are delighted that we did. The dove grey in the centre of the room helps to make the room feel bigger and the dark blue wall units bring a sense of drama to the room whilst feeling in keeping with our Victorian property.
We fitted it ourselves with a little help from some handy friends who had some experience. The units were well built and installed much easier than we had imagined. We had one small item missing when the delivery arrived but the customer service were quick to remedy this.
The kitchen has been in about 8 months in our busy household. 3 small kids and lots of visitors. It’s still looking good thanks to the small touch up paint pots that were sent with the order that were used once to touch up a couple of small scratches.
We love to entertain and everyone who visits is wowed by the kitchen and we’ve recommend DIY Kitchens to many people since.
Thanks for our amazing kitchen DIY Kitchens. We love it! '
Jane from York 'Here are the completed pictures of my kitchen, I absolutely love it! I have loads more units and worktop space than previously but it still feels more spacious than before. The fitter Paul @eden_jbs did an amazing job of fitting it, he did the flooring and bench seating too. He was recommended to me by my neighbour.'
Jacqueline from Cardiff 'Thank you so much. Your help with our order has been invaluable providing excellent customer service with a quite difficult set of circumstances. It is clear that you and DIY Kitchens have a culture of excellence, high quality and customer satisfaction. We have recommended DiY kitchens to many people we know and will continue to do so. We thought you might wish to see some photos of the kitchen installed. We are delighted with the quality.'
Deb from Essex 'Everything has now arrived and our kitchen & utility are finally finished, both rooms look gorgeous! I'd also just like to say again a big thank you for all the help and support you've given us with the few issues.'
Katie from Oxford 'In love with my kitchen, the finish and quality is excellent and the white is exactly what I was looking for. Also love how easy they are to install.
I heard about DIY Kitchen’s through a friend and was not disappointed. The quote was thousands of pounds cheaper than other kitchen suppliers.'
Rob from Sheffield 'Here are some pictures of my new kitchen from yourselves, i've also added 3 before pictures as well. A great quality kitchen and customer service too. You were recommended to me by a couple of friends.'
Lisa from Hertfordshire 'Here are some photos from our extension with a new kitchen and utility room with units from DIY kitchens.
Both are the Stanbury range. The kitchen is Heron Grey and White and the utility room is Cornflower Blue with an oak worktop. The worktop for the kitchen was sourced independently.
We love the units and found DIY KITCHENS to be extremely helpful in the planning phase. '
Joan from Essex 'Thank you. We are so happy to have our DIY Kitchen finished in time for Christmas.'
Victoria from Southampton 'Images of my completed kitchen. We heard about DIY kitchen through a tradesperson.'
Loz and Andy from Sunderland 'We ordered our kitchen earlier this year and couldn’t be happier with it. We went for your Clayton range in Cobham blue.
The overall experience was nothing but positive. From even before placing our actual order our questions and queries were answered quickly and efficiently.
There was a slight issue with the quality of a drawer front and an end panel upon delivery but this was dealt with super quickly and rectified with no issue at all.
Our joiner who fitted the kitchen was as equally impressed as us at the quality of the supplied kitchen with doors already attached. This made the installation so much quicker.
I had seen a few accounts on Instagram with DIY kitchens so decided to take a look and we’re so pleased we did. Not only is the quality second to none, we also found the kitchen to be competitively priced too.
We are already planning our utility room and will be back again to order from you, thinking this time your Malton range in Cashmere.'
Lea from Leicester 'We had an extension built in late 2020 to extend our kitchen which was very old and tired. Fitted my own kitchen, first time that I have ever attempted anything like this.
Would consider myself an average DIYer and the units coming already assembled made the job as easy as it could have been.
Quality was above what I was expecting. Absolutely love the grey carcasses and the doors and hinges are top quality too. Absolutely love my new DIY Kitchens kitchen.
I heard about you from extensive web trawling over many weeks.'
Paul from Staffordshire 'We are delighted with the finished product. Throughout the process from visiting the showroom, planning, ordering, and delivery, the quality of service and product has been 10/10'
Kirsty from Kent '
DIY kicthens was a great help when it came to ordering our new kitchen. We relocated where the kitchen would be, as we had a new extension. I did everything from scratch using their website.
I ordered a few sample doors, and some of the worktop too! The whole process was pain free. The samples went back when the order arrived and I got a refund on those straight away. When I made the order I added one unit taller than the others and this was picked up right away. The service with DIY was brilliant. I couldn’t believe I got the order all correct, we had 2 colours so this did make things a bit difficult when it came to ordering.
The results speak for themselves, our fitter said it was easy to fit and he himself would be recommending DIY kitchens. The guys who came to fit the worktop were helpful too, we got to choose some amendments when they were here.
We’re really pleased with the overall result and the quality. Our dog Rio approves of the new look too.'
Claire from Wirral 'We’ve recommended DIY Kitchens to many of our friends and family, and have used them multiple times in various properties. The units are excellent quality and very well built, various tradesmen have been very impressed with their quality and ease of fitting. Plus they look really good! Overall, a really good product for a great price.'
Elena from Leeds 'A year ago we moved to the new house and I was looking for a kitchen supplier who can offer narrow based cabinets. I was juggling between Ikea and DIY kitchen but after visiting the showroom I had no doubt anymore. In my opinion, they have the best range of cabinets and colour and the quality is outstanding.
My builder who installed it also agreed with the good quality cabinets, drawers and worktop. We have had this kitchen for one year and never regret it. We love it every minute!'
Arron & Victoria from Liverpool 'We are really pleased with our Linwood Carbon kitchen! Since we have an L-shaped kitchen we initially found it difficult to find ways to optimise our storage, however, we needn’t have worried as with DIY Kitchen’s many options for units, we found that with their corners units, pan drawers and larder with built-in drawers we had plenty of choice!
The fact that the units arrive already built it was super easy to put everything into place before the final fit to visualise how it would all come together. The customer service team were really helpful with our order, especially with the finer details such as they kindly suggested ordering a profile that would go around our basket unit that would frame it nicely along with the units neighbouring it. Would definitely recommend!'
Keith & Lesley from Lincs 'Superb quality painted doors with excellent assembled units and ‘top notch’ ironmongery and furniture.
First class service throughout. Exceptional delivery service with virtually fully recyclable packaging-Not one blemish on the entire kitchen.
Retained some existing units and was able to match to new units by just purchasing new doors. Cannot fault the whole experience in dealing with DIY Kitchens.
Found DIY Kitchens on-line and then went to visit their extensive showroom. Unbeatable range of styles and colours all at super competitive prices. Huge savings on some previous quotes by other companies.'
Sally from Howden 'The service offered by DIY Kitchens was fabulous. Delivery was super - everything came wrapped and labelled so it was easy to sort. The quality of the kitchen is second to none. We have received lots of positive comments from friends and family who have seen it. Thank you very much. We literally found DIY Kitchens from surfing the net. '
Ali & Tom from London 'We love our dove grey cabinets, the colour is soothing, stylish and looks great with our black and bronze fixtures. The units are really well made, neat and sturdy and the butcher’s block provides a great prep space-come-dining table. Great quality for a great price and we love our new kitchen! '
Jenny & Ian from Coventry 'We love our new kitchen and utility room, the cupboards are brilliant quality, the online planning tool was really easy to use and the customer support has been excellent.'
Jennifer from Gloucestershire 'I am not a professional builder or kitchen installer, but a keen DIYer. To date I have installed 5 kitchens over the past 6 years in ours and our daughter’s homes. The latest kitchen was for the family holiday home in France.
My daughter who purchased the kitchen as her contribution ot the home, was told about DIY kitchens by a friend. I looked them up and also found a very useful review on YouTube, we hired a professional kitchen fitter, compared 10 major suppliers including the major usual ‘high street’ suppliers. DIY kitchens scored the highest for quality of construction, range and choice of colours. So we took the plunge and purchased from them.
So the good points: the carcasses come ready assembled and are rigid, the cabinets are 18mm thick, they are very well made and as one would expect from an automated ‘high end’ assembly line. The hinge and drawer runners are Blum and very high quality.
The range of styles and colours (the basic range offers 16 colours for doors, drawer fronts end panels etc. and 4 basic colours of carcass at no extra cost).
Additionally, the range of sizes is very useful with carcases increasing in 50mm increments from 300 to 500mm, this offers far greater flexibility when designing a kitchen.
The base units are available in 560, 460 and 360mm depths. This is better than almost any other supplier we have come across.
Finally, the customer service was exemplary, with the staff being both helpful and incredibly patient with all our enquiries. They also offered very useful advice and signposting for additional hints and information on planning and installation.
The prices for the kitchen worked out at about the middle price range of typical ‘high street’ suppliers, but with far better quality of product and greater flexibility.
If you are a moderately competent DIYer of know a competent kitchen installer, I would highly recommend DIY kitchens.
My only specific word of advice: you do need to do your own measuring and planning, currently there is no online CAD / Drawing / planning service available. If you are unsure how to do this, then ask someone who is capable of doing this for you. DIY kitchens do not offer this service.
However, even if you need a little help with DIY Kitchens you can achieve the quality kitchen of your dreams at an affordable price.'
Steve from Leeds 'Fantastic quality - much better than the competition - and Excellent value for money. Well made carcasses and not flimsy. Superb finish quality to the doors and a really wide range of styles and finishes. Bespoke kitchen at off the peg price. Thanks.'
Ben & Emma from Birmingham 'Here are some photos of our kitchen. We extended our kitchen, so had a complete remodel and 11 months in we are still delighted with it! The transformation from our old kitchen is huge. I have attached a few before photos with the brown doors.
Door quality is excellent, we love the tall pullout larder as it makes use of our high ceilings without having loads of high units. Our builders were really impressed with the carcass quality and how easy it was to put in. We heard about DIY kitchens from a friend and have since recommended you to a few people.'
Peter & Valerie from Kent 'We are over the moon with our new DIY kitchen. The dated kitchen in our new house was a depressing eye sore. We had received a couple of quotes from high-street kitchen retailers when we happened on DIY kitchen and started to build our dream kitchen online out of curiosity. The final quote was extremely competitive and based on the good reviews we decided to take the plunge.
The whole process from start to finish was a breeze. The lead-time to delivery was good and the delivery was on time. We were a bit nervous about the worktop installation, but this too was executed to perfection by DIY Kitchen vendor Natural Stone Surfaces. The quality of the units lived-up to expectations. We always get compliments on our new kitchen and happily recommend DIY kitchen to our friends. Thank you for the excellent experience and quality kitchen!'
Bernie & Hil from Derbyshire 'After nearly 12 months with our new kitchen we’re really pleased. The units have good quality fittings and are well built. The service we received was excellent and the process for having the worktop’s measured, delivered and fitted was painless.
We found DIY Kitchens from an online search for tall curved corner units; we were then fortunate to be able to visit the showroom, view the units and discuss some of the details with the staff.'
Rhys & Cassie from Crewe 'Here are the photographs of our Shaker Kitchen from DIY Kitchens.
We absolutely love the shaker kitchen from DIY kitchens. The dark green lower units complimented by the white upper units helps add a feeling of height to the room, and the shaker style suits our 1930s home perfectly. We chose oak worktops to help add to the traditional theme of the room, and felt it worked well with the Belfast sink and brass hardware.
We heard about DIY kitchens from a close friend who showed us her kitchen, and we were very impressed by the quality and price.'
Jim from Chesterfield 'Here are a few photos of my completed kitchen. The quality is second to none and I am really impressed with the service I received, I have recommended you to a friend and will have no hesitation to doing so in the future.
I found DIY Kitchens on the internet by searching for Kitchens that I could install myself and the units were already constructed and the name speaks for itself. '
Harry from Durham 'Here are some pictures of my kitchen which you will no doubt recognise as being very similar to one of your showroom kitchens. It was perfect to see the style and design that we felt suited our situation in your showroom and so we adapted it for our use. Hope you like the pictures as much as we love our kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and doors is very good; we are very impressed. '
Alex & Tim from Leicestershire 'We love our new kitchen. When we first moved into our cottage many years ago, my kitchen budget was eaten up with structural issues we weren't prepared for and so we made do.
The quality of DIY Kitchens is far superior to anything we have had before but they are still affordable. I spent ages planning and re-planning to try and fit something special into our very small kitchen space and the DIY Kitchens planner really helped me to visualise each change as I played with different styles and layouts.
Cabinets come already assembled with doors and are very solid and well made. The range of colours, finishes and styles was amazing and the range of sizes for base and wall cabinets allows for all styles, spaces and designs. We ended up with the Norton painted, using Cobham Blue base units and White wall units to keep the space as light as possible. Easy to fit, with good quality hangers for wall units which made positioning them fairly easy, as we fitted the kitchen ourselves during lockdown. '
Chris & Juliana from Wiltshire '
Our DIY Kitchen in our new Self Build home. We are delighted with our kitchen - and in fact with our entire house. In fact our utility room is also fitted with more Luca units in Cornflower Blue
This is the third DIY Kitchens kitchen we have fitted and we are very happy with the wide range of units, the overall quality and the fact they are ready assembled. Pre- sales were really great and flexible and delivery was excellent. Sadly there were a few damaged doors that took a while to get replaced but now they are fine. We have the worktops from a local supplier to match all the window cills.
We designed the entire kitchen in from the very start of the design process and the slot window above the sink was a key design element. The stepped units above it were a great innovation and together with the colour contrast of Chobam and Cornflower really frame the window and allow the worktop to flow seamlessly into the window. On the other side of the kitchen. Even though the run of units have a flat front, they have two different depths to allow extra space into the cloakroom behind, while the tambours are full depth and allow small kitchen appliances to be hidden away and not spoil the clean lines of the open plan space. In line with the self build ethos, we designed and fitted the kitchen ourselves. '
John from Norfolk 'Great value for money, easy to install as ready built, easy to adjust, delivery on time, best quality compared to like competitors.'
Hannah fom Leeds 'Really impressed with the quality our kitchen from DIY kitchens, easy to install as we fit it all ourselves. Absolutely love it and we get so many compliments. Would definitely recommend!'
Hari from Surrey 'Please find attached the pictures to my kitchen from DIY Kitchens.'
Sarah from East Yorkshire 'Here are some photos of my almost completed Stanbury bespoke kitchen. The quality is excellent and I love the oak carcass, which goes great with my chosen colour. Service was absolutely spot on throughout the stressful process!!'
Andy from Devon 'We love the kitchen, the quality is great and having the units pre-assembled made the installation so much quicker. We heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend who recommended you.'
Sarah from Manchester 'I am so pleased with the quality and look of the kitchen. Easy to install as said by my kitchen fitters who had never worked with DIY kitchen but was suitably impressed when compared to Wickes and B&Q.'
Holly from Cheshire 'We love our Clayton kitchen and utility; the quality of the units is amazing and it was easy to install ourselves. I had lots of fun designing it myself too. I first heard about DIY Kitchens on Instagram.'
Gail from Cornwall 'Our new home after spending 7 years living on a boat then in a 5th wheel van is a static park home which needed complete refurbishment. Selecting a kitchen during a Covid pandemic lockdown was initially frustrating but then on finding the DIY Kitchens website via a web search, which is designed to choose and purchase on-line made the process enjoyable. The choice of unit sizes, types and door finishes and being able to mix and match made the DIY kitchen purchase much easier. Using the "save your basket" function numerous times I was able to tweak my choices until I reached my final decision without having to start over each time I changed my mind about door choices or unit styles.
Although my new kitchen area is much bigger than I was used to in a galley or caravan, it is still a small space and I wanted to utilise as much as possible. We chose to locate our washing machine in the bathroom, a top loader, to give us more cupboard space and opted for cream coloured wall units with darker base units for a contemporary look while not making the space look too crowded.
My partner was going to be fitting the kitchen units and worktops himself so the fact the cupboards came pre-built with the feet, doors/drawers on made this even easier. We were more than impressed with the quality of the built units. In fact the whole process; ordering of sample doors (and being able to return them), the support and advice from the customer services team, the professionalism of the delivery drivers and the after delivery care was impressive.
I have been recommending DIY-Kitchens to anyone who mentions replacing their kitchen.'
Ben & Hannah from Hersham '
I am a professional interiors photographer so was always excited to get some photos of our new finished kitchen. We ordered it at the end of 2020 and had it installed just before Christmas. We are just approaching a year with our lovely new kitchen. It was a relatively simple affair being a galley kitchen, but needed a lot of planning out to make the most of the space available and to work effectively with the structural work.
From beginning to end of planning and ordering to now living with our kitchen, we have both been very happy with the process. Using the online 3D planner was good fun and felt rewarding as it slowly took shape. As we were able to log in to consider the design and layout whenever we wanted we were able to make as many changes and modifications as we wanted. This meant that as our ideas evolved the design could adapt to suit.
I had been recommended DIY Kitchens by our builder and kitchen fitter Jamie at NorthSouthBuilders in Cobham. I trusted his judgement as he came highly recommended and I am very pleased that we did. The kitchen that arrived was solidly built and in perfect condition (except for missing one large item, but this was quickly rectified and in the long run saved us trouble having to store it while the builders finished the structural work!).
The doors are a smooth finish that clean easily. The drawers all soft close flawlessly and I’m very pleased that we went with 1m wide drawers where we could - we’ve got everything in them! I would recommend going with the wood effect cabinet internals, it looks great. Worktops were sourced elsewhere but went on just fine. Door handles are just what we wanted and good quality considering the price. Overall, very impressed with the kitchen and the whole process.'
David & Laura from Cambridgeshire 'We love everything about the kitchen and think it looks stunning. The units are sturdy and arriving already assembled made fitting them a breeze for our installer. The worktops look fantastic. In fact, we loved it so much we ordered more units in the same range to fit out the utility room.
We heard about diy-kitchens on an internet forum when reading about other people's experiences using Wren kitchens, thought we'd take a look at your website and the rest is history! I've included some before shots although it was part of some major remodelling work so it's hard to compare but they are worlds apart! I've also included a shot of our new puppy, Molly, who also loves the kitchen.'
Ben from Porthcawl 'Heard about DIY Kitchens through Google and recommended through a friend. Really pleased with Kitchen quality and service provided by DIY Kitchens.'
