With our prior experience, we did not look at any other kitchen retailer; already aware of the value for money, quality of the kitchen and the longevity of the units.

After 12 years, the old kitchen was showing no signs of age, still with a great finish and all the doors, drawers etc working perfectly. The only reason for a change of kitchen, was due to a reconfiguration in the ground floor rooms.

With the new kitchen position having no window in the area, we opted for a light gloss door and a light stilestone worktop.

For all our units we used the 'tall' option apart from one normal height pull out larder under the steel beam. This worked seamlessly with the boxed in area above the smaller larder cupboard utilising the door 'sample' we ordered from DIY Kitchens.'

As you can see the flat is compact but the kitchen works excellently with the u shape and all the special units such as a double bin unit, corner lemans and the pan drawers.

We have fitted many DIY Kitchens, 2 in my home own, a few in family members' homes and many in customers' homes. We find the quality good and value for money, which is why we always return. There is a very good selection of units to fit into most spaces and there are plenty of options that make the space you have so much useable, such as the le mans corner units, the bin units, the pull out units and the drawer sets with the pan drawers and extra high sides for them.

We initially found DIY Kitchens on the internet many years ago and have visited the showroom many times as have our customers.'

Despite the limited size of my kitchen, the new kitchen units have worked wonders in enhancing its overall appearance. We decided to take on the installation ourselves, and it turned out to be a wise decision both in terms of saving money and the satisfaction of completing the project. Although the installation process required patience, it wasn't overly difficult. With perseverance and attention to detail, we were able to bring our vision to life and create a kitchen that we are so proud of!

We opted for an Aria Compact Laminate worktop which wasn't purchased from DIY Kitchens as it wasn't available. Its length of 3.6 meters allowed us to avoid the need for joining two separate pieces, resulting in a seamless and cohesive look. The worktop's sleek and modern appeal perfectly complements the overall aesthetic of the kitchen, also on a budget (it was quite cheap but looks like stone).

I must commend the customer service and the friendly team involved in this project. From the initial inquiry to the final delivery of the kitchen units, the customer service was exceptional. The team was knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to assist with any queries or concerns that arose during the process. Their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

In conclusion, our small space has undergone a remarkable transformation, thanks to our new DIY kitchen. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone looking to revamp their kitchen on a budget!'

The whole kitchen arrived on the day agreed, and was beautifully packed. One door had minor damage but this was quickly replaced without issue. The carcasses and doors are excellent quality and fitted together without fault.

We used our old appliances as they were serviceable and this kept the costs down. It’s scary sending a large payment off for full payment in advance, but with DIY kitchens there is no need to be concerned. We even had the quartz worktops fitted by them, and again received excellent service.'

I attended your showroom and I was totally blown away by the superb quality of the units and the wide choice that was on offer. What I loved about the whole experience was that there was no pressure sales people and I was able to take my time to select the units I wanted. For me it was love at first sight when I saw the colour of my kitchen units and now they are fitted they look even better.

My builder was so impressed by the quality and he could not believe how much I had paid for my units, sink and wine cooler. He commented that he had been helping a fellow builder on his job and that his clients had paid four times as much, but the quality was far more inferior compared to mine. That comment certainly made my day.

Matthew from Norfolk 'We love our new kitchen! Thanks to a really wide variety of carcass size options, we were able to fit the kitchen exactly to our space and requirements, something we couldn't find elsewhere without a very high price tag!

The fact that the carcasses arrived pre-built saved a lot of time and effort on our part and meant we managed to fit the kitchen ourselves without having to bring in expensive kitchen fitters. We requested that one of the carcasses arrive unglued as we needed to modify the back slightly to fit around our electric meters, they arrived as requested and made what could have been a tricky job much easier.

The Altino white doors are gorgeous and the quality is excellent. We opted for a Duropal laminate worktop that fits really nicely with the rest of the kitchen and it is also really good quality, it cut well making the join seamless.

The online planner was invaluable and made designing our kitchen really straight forward. We made a few changes during the design process which was really easy to do and meant we could play around with options until we found the perfect fit. We had a few questions before purchasing as well as during fitting the kitchen and the customer service was fast, knowledgeable and very helpful. We get lots of compliments on our kitchen and would definitely recommend to anyone.'

This kitchen has absolutely transformed my life. Firstly I had the dining room window replaced with french doors to let in more light. I then decided to remove a small internal wall which divided the then existing kitchen & dining room as it was much less costly than having an extension & would bring the kitchen & dining room together as one workable room. What I had previously didn’t give me any storage space and had mostly unused dining room.

The guys at DIY kitchens showroom were absolutely fantastic in particular the salesman who helped me with all the awkward measurements & helped me realise what I have today. I was directed to DIY by a friend of mine who’s aunt had been a customer & I'm so glad he did.

I have everything I could possibly want, a beautiful stylish kitchen in a timeless colour, which is of fantastic quality. I cannot emphasise enough how much this has transformed how we work as a family now & I no longer have “that” room in the house which I don’t get any enjoyment from....even the dog gets pleasure by looking out of the french doors into the garden! Steve from Essex 'I ordered and fitted a kitchen from you earlier this summer, Altino Petrol Blue fronts and grey carcasses. I assembled these units into an enlarged kitchen and utility area following building of an extension to my kitchen and dining room. The extension semi-integrated the two rooms with a half wall replacing full wall in the original kitchen area and a combined area with vaulted ceiling in the extension. This gave opportunity to create several distinct sections including areas for cooking, washing up, drink making, breakfasts and food preparation, plus utility.

I have built several kitchens previously but this was the first from DIY Kitchens, having been introduced through a 'Which' report. I was generally very impressed with the wide range of cabinet sizes and options as well as initial ordering system, customer service and overall unit quality.

I used all three depths of floor cabinets and two heights of wall unit as well a s wide variety of other options. General construction is strong, hardware including cabinet feet, hinges and wall unit hangers are excellent quality and easier than many to fit and adjust. The instruction manual is minimal, but excellent -- concise and all that is needed without extraneous content. I needed to customise several units and this also proved quite straightforward. I am very pleased with the final installation which has drawn many admiring comments. '

The fact that they are prebuilt saves a lot of time and money, all that is required is for the user to click on the feet and secure them in place. The kitchen is Altino White which at my request was altered to white edges at no extra charge. The order arrived complete on time and when my builder discovered a tiny flaw in one door this was replaced very quickly and without any problem. How a supplier deals with problems is so important and diy kitchens were perfect. My builder was very impressed with the quality of the units especially compared to poorer quality flat packed units at a similar price.

In the planning, which I bravely did myself, the staff on the phone and by email were very helpful. I obtained quotes from other suppliers but they could not compete with the excellent value for money from diy kitchens. No other supplier could provide the exact sizes I needed to fit round the RSJ that drops down in my ceiling and the photos show the perfect fit that the diy kitchen units produced. I found diy kitchens searching the internet and was initially cautious but was reassured by reviews on independent sites, there being a showroom and the service I received in the preparation process before ordering.

I expect this kitchen will last me many years but when I do come to replace it, or should I move and need a new kitchen, I will certainly use diy kitchens again. '

We made two visits to the showroom and the displays and advice were really helpful, especially where we were trying to build on top of a corner unit to complete the run of five full height units.

The versatility of the range enabled us to make the best fit for the space available with different width units and the option of having the units dry built was a great help. Unfortunately one of the appliance doors was scratched but quickly replaced.

The quality of the units, doors, hinges and runners is excellent and far better than some other suppliers. I am a 61 year old DIY person with average DIY skills but lots of patience and time. I also have a very supportive wife.

The units and fillers cut well using a basic plunge saw with fine tooth blade, the levelling process was easy and the units fitted together well. We used specialist tradesmen for electrics, plastering.

The worktops are Grigio Star Quartz sourced locally. New electrical appliances including induction hob which is amazing, sourced locally.

Overall very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend DIY Kitchens, which I came across whilst searching the internet. Savings for the whole project against Magnet price at least 50%. Wickes was poor quality & Benchmarx wouldn’t talk to us because we weren’t trade! Time for a holiday or two.'

I was a bit worried about buying from an online company. I ordered the door samples and I was happy with the quality, all the reviews were very positive so I decided to go ahead with my order. It took about three weeks for the kitchen to arrive, the delivery drivers where great, they rang me in the morning to tell me when they where due to arrive, they actually turned up 10 mins early in the end!

I quickly unwrapped the kitchen, it was lovely! The quality was amazing, much better than I have seen in any shops on my search. Fitting was a pleasure, my dad who has fitted plenty of kitchens in his time was very surprised at the quality and ease! (He is definitely converted from a Howdens man!)

Having exhausted best part of six months speaking to different people, looking at different kitchens, going to different kitchen showrooms. Trying to extract the sleazy sales people out of our house. One of our close friends (a kitchen fitter who works for wren). Made a recomendation to yourselves.

Although the thought of a "DIY Kitchen" was appealable to me (thinking with wallet). Your website did a fantastic job of convincing my wife (who was very much looking with her heart)

"Fwan" the mincing kitchen designer from Wickes had shown us his 3d designs, so had done a lot of the dreamcatching and providing us the vision, so once the plaster had finished, we set about our workable space with a tape measure like pro's. We found your website extremely good, the intuative menu system made it easy to select all the different types of unit, and change style. However, we found the "basket" page got very long, a freeform "note" or "title" field would of been useful, so we could of labelled each part as we put it in the basket ie "sink cabinet" which would of helped slightly.

The order was placed, and the delivery timeframe was very pleasing. The communication great, and your delivery driver was literally built like Ivan drago from Rocky IV.

The packaging of all the product was first class, and installation was very easy. We were missing only the little chrome cupboard shelf hanger brackets, which were just a quick support ticket and a 1st class stamp away.

Overall we are extremely impressed with both the customer experience and product you have provided, and will of course be recommending you to all our friends.

However DIY kitchens make it very easy and the support available online is excellent. The buying and ordering process on the website is very user friendly and easy to follow, reassuiring you that you haven't forgotten anything important.

Judith from Cramlington 'We were looking to modernise and upgrade our kitchen and spent a huge amount of time visiting local kitchen showrooms in Northumberland, and whilst I found a kitchen that I loved, the prices we were being quoted were eye watering to say the least.

Thankfully whilst searching the kitchen name on the internet I stumbled upon the DIY Kitchen web page. I was quickly able to calculate how much it would cost to buy the same units direct and the cost saving was substantial.

Buying goods via the internet is often a leap of faith and before committing to buying units for my kitchen and utility room I made the trip down to your showroom. What a huge revelation as the showroom was well stocked with a huge range of kitchens, there was no pushy salesmen following me around, and I was able to see each type and style of unit and begin to formulate my design.

The ordering process was easy and I was kept fully informed of the delivery date, which was as promised. Before delivery, we had some additional questions and the help desk staff gave some excellent advice and even arranged quick delivery of a piece that I had forgotten to order. All of the units and doors were delivered well wrapped and getting time to inspect was a bonus than trying to check them all during delivery.

The beauty of the ready made units and doors meant that we were able to install all of the units ourselves, and only needed to employ a joiner for the finer details (plinth, pelmets and infill at the top of the units). Even hanging the wall units was relatively simple and getting everything level with the adjustment screws didn’t take long.

The money that we saved by doing it ourselves gave us additional money to spend on granite work tops and upgrading our kitchen appliances (including a fabulous new wine fridge!). Whilst I am no expert on kitchen worktops, the one chosen is sold in my favourite department store, and again a google search taught me that they are very high spec (but at a low price) so another great result.

I love everything about my new kitchen. All of the units are solid and well made, the gloss doors are free from blemishes and the soft close doors work really well, even my joiner was impressed with the quality and he has very high standards.

Although it may be some time before I need to remodel my kitchen again, I sincerely hope to be a repeat customer at some point as I have been able to afford my dream kitchen at a realistic price.'

The quality of the units and doors is first rate and is probably better than many more expensive suppliers. Providing you are able to plan your own kitchen, which is not that difficult if you take a bit of time, the diy-kitchen option must be the best option you can take.

I know there were a few hiccups with the work tops and handles but in the end everything was fully resolved within the timescale of the fitter being on site.

I can highly recommend your company and would be very happy if you were to include my comments in your testimonials.

If you want some pictures of the finished kitchen I would be more than happy to oblige.
