Please find attached the photos of my new kitchen as I noticed that your customer area currently only has 2 Malton Oak kitchens available to view.
The quality of the units and doors was excellent and them arriving built with doors already on made them so easy to fit it took half the time my fitter quoted for, he was so impressed with the quality of the build he has since ordered a new kitchen from diy kitchens himself. No one can believe how much the project cost given the quality.
I found the planning tools on the website very helpful allowing me to design a kitchen which fitted my needs and looked great to.
I had a few little scratches on the doors but your team had that sorted out in no time and it didn't hold up the installation, in fact all of the support tickets were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
My Worktops were Duropal laminate crystal black, the quality was high and they completed the
look of the kitchen.
I couldn't be happier with the end result and love my new kitchen, I wouldn't go anywhere else now and have recommended Diy kitchens to friends and colleagues as the overall experience from start to finish was second to none.
Thank you for making a high stress project as easy as possible.
Had a great experience from start to finish. Here's some pictures of the finished kitchen.
We are extremely happy with the final result. The new kitchen, a sort of galley kitchen (4m long and 2.5m wide) is in sage green, pinewood knobs and a very low maintenance laminate worktop in oak colour that goes perfectly with the cabinets. The old kitchen Ė now family room Ė has the same style of furniture but in oak finish and antique bronze knobs. We also turned the lower part of one of the pantry units into a little wardrobe for daily use. The utility room was a big problem because the external wall is at an angle: we needed to have it covered with cupboards which needed to be made to measure. A carpenter made the carcass and we bought the same sage green doors of the kitchen with soft hinges and look perfect, while on the other side we fitted some extra cabinets (wall and base cabinets), a sink and the same oak worktop. We also managed to put two old chests of drawers that give a more elegant touch to it all. Itís wonderful for storing all the things that were hanging around the house and with an easy-care worktop and sink we have space for hobbies and gardening without having to interfere with the kitchen itself. Itís tidy and much more elegant than a normal utility room; with some strategic trompe-líoeil we managed to make it look wider too.
The furniture looks very good and everyone who comes compliments us. It is also solid and so easy to clean and maintain. We particularly like the way the drawers close: with just a little touch they go all the way in by themselves, even the large ones with heavy saucepans inside. We also appreciated very much the flexibility and versatility of the options that allowed us to create three different rooms with very different purposes and looks, while maintaining a harmonic continuity. And of course: the price! Especially thinking of the products we saw in some shops, which looked so-so and for which they asked a fortune, we are very aware we made the right choice. We also need to thank the staff who was very patient and kind; they helped us with the many questions we had, because we were not familiar with the process.
I would like to send you some photos of our wonderful new kitchen.
We love the quality of the wood veneer. It has a lovely feel and is really pleasing to the eye. So much more than the wooden effect laminate kitchens sold by your competitors! It is extremely sturdy and the soft close features are really effective. The range of unit sizes meant we could have exactly the kitchen we wanted. We are over the moon with it, thank you.
Well, we are really happy with the quality of our Shaker Malton Oak kitchen. I found DIY Kitchens through an on line search after extensive research & reading as many (hopefully independent) customer reviews as I could find of all the well known kitchen retailers.
As a result of this research, my main concern with choosing which supplier to go with was how my order would be dealt with in the event of any of the units arriving damaged or being incorrect. I needed to know that in this event, it would be rectified quickly as most of the negative feedback I had read about other suppliers related not so much about the quality of the units but about the poor after sales care when there had been an quality issue.
Fortunately, whilst researching DIY kitchens, it became apparent, that this hadnít been an issue with previous customers & even more reassuringly, that it was rare for units to arrive damaged or be the incorrect size, type etc anyway (accepting that things can always go wrong in life of course).
So, adding a very competitive price, good manufacture & delivery times to a positive reputation, decision made. Looking back now itís all finished (first time Iíve ever fitted any sort of kitchen) & having a chance to reflect, Iím happy to say my faith in DIY Kitchens has been completely rewarded, We are very happy with the whole process, receiving a quality product underpinned by excellent communication & customer service from initial enquiry right through to delivery & beyond. I would (& have already) happily recommend DIY Kitchens, many thanks.
